Do we live our lives in a manner worthy of the Gospel? Often times we celebrate the resurrection of our Savior, but do not live it. Our actions betray what we proclaim. Jesus called those out that lived in hypocrisy, maintaining that they were clean on the outside, yet corrupt and dying on the inside. You cannot separate love and obedience, they go hand in hand with worship. Obedience produces real joy, which then overflows in gratitude, resulting in more joy. We need to get to the place that we will obey God, not because of the reward, but because we love him. Even if we don’t understand, he is worthy.
