“What is the importance of trials in a believer’s life?” Josh unpacks this question for us as we discuss faith in the midst of trying times.  As we partner together in prayer and fasting this week, our hope is that your faith would be strengthened and that God would meet you in whatever season of life you are in. Maturity is not following the rules, or meeting expectations. It is a process and journey that will continue for our entire lives, each decision a small pivot towards the person we will become tomorrow. We must be willing to allow God to chisel away anything that hides the image of Jesus, because he is our full and complete standard.

It takes courage to live out actually knowing God, versus knowing him theoretically. You can be courageous knowing that you are not alone, you are not in charge, and the battle has already been won.

Hardship is the womb that gives birth to revival. No matter what our own circumstances look like, God can and will meet us there. We are challenged to lay down our expectation of what the experience of revival is supposed to look like.

In a world that’s shaking, Jude calls us to contend for the faith—not in fear, but with confident hope in Jesus. As we hold to His Word, stay rooted in God’s love, and extend mercy to others, we’re reminded: He is able to keep us, strengthen us, and present us blameless with great joy before the Father.
