023: Xbox's Developer Direct, D&D ditches new OGL, Blizzard's internal ranking system 06.02.2023

Xbox/Bethesda's Developer Direct debuted with an fun and exciting shadow drop of Hi-Fi Rush! Lots of discussion surrounding Forspoken's dialogue VS Hi-Fi Rush's dialogue and when "campy" fits or stands out, Disney Dreamlight valley dropped their early 2023 roadmap, Dead Space remake is doing well by the numbers, and E3 is back this year, with some caveats. 

022: Stadia is done, Ubisoft CEO and D&D apologies, and Microsoft to lay off 10k employees 24.01.2023

Another rough week in terms of stories. Stadia has ended service, Amored Core VI is getting a small showcase. Marvel's Avengers game is ending support, and Microsoft is set to lay off 10k employees by March.

021: Microsoft's Developer Direct, Ubisoft cancels and delays games, and Wizards of the Coast's changes to their OGL 16.01.2023

Microsoft and Bethesda have confirmed their own "Developer Direct" set for Jan. 25th showcasing games, leaving out Starfield for it's own showcase. Ubisoft also axes games in development and delays others, while Callisto Protocol's studio forgot to add in devs to its credits. Games done quick raised $2.6mil this round and changes are coming to D&D's Open Gaming License.

020: Sony sells 30 million units & unveils "Project Leonardo", AGDQ has begun, & Payday 3 is coming. 09.01.2023

We're back for the new year! Awesome Games Done Quick has started, Redfall is said to be closer to Far Cry in gameplay that Left 4 Dead, and Destiny 2 dataminers apologize for "trolling". Konami and Atlas announce games will be coming this year but no titles yet and Sony hit a sales milestone in December.

Lets Talk About: Games of 2022 and looking forward to 2023 26.12.2022

As this year winds down, Adam and Mike take a look back at the games that came out this year and pick their Game of the Year. They also look ahead to 2023 and see what titles are set to be released and discuss which ones their excited for most.

Microsoft attempts to sweeten the deal with Sony over Call of Duty, Game Awards viewership hit a new livestream high, and Epic was hit with a $520 million fine by the FTC.

018: The Game Awards, FTC sues Microsoft, and paying for Next-Gen? 12.12.2022

The Game Awards went on this week with a look at some new and upcoming titles, Yuji Naka was arrested again, the FTC is suing Microsoft to block the Activision/Blizzard acquisition, "Day's Gone" creator blames "woke reviewers" for poor sales, and should Next-Gen upgrades be free?

017: Bethesda defends ID Software, Pokemon Scarlet/Violet is a beautiful mess, & Smash World Tour 06.12.2022

After some technical hiccups, we're back! We look forward to the Game Awards Thursday, touch on Bethesda's rebuttal to Mick Gordon's statement, and talk about how 'Sonic' creator Yuji Naka was arrested for insider trading. We also briefly talk about the Super Mario Bros. Movie trailer and get excited for game updates of the week.

The old man episode; we discuss Nintendo's newest showcase, reminisce on Kevin Conroy's time as batman, say goodbye to G4 (again), and discuss the Mick Gordon and id Software dilemma.

015: New Silent Hill, more Resident Evil, and how much is your voice worth? 31.10.2022

Xbox missed their Game Pass subscription estimates 2 years in a row, Bayonetta 3 voice actor allegations and commentary on voice acting, as well as covering the Resident Evil and Silent Hill showcases from the past week. 

014: New Nintendo Direct, $70 games, and goodbye Google Stadia 07.10.2022

Google has finally killed off Google Stadia, Jim Ryan of Sony is upset about the Microsoft acquisition of Activision Blizzard, the dawn of $70 video games is here, and we cover the Nintendo Direct and all the goodies that were shown off.

Cuphead DLC came out this week (and it’s great!), Summer Games Done Quick started and ended this week raising just over $3 million for Doctors Without Borders, Ubisoft is turning off services for older titles, and Skate 4 is still in development!

Surprise; TMNT: Shredder's Revenge is great! Activision Blizzard can't admit fault, and no one seems to have enjoyed Sonic Frontiers' demo. As well as a couple of game releases and some EA news.
