The Pool is Abstract - A Doctor Who Podcast

The Doctor and Martha land in 1930s New York, where the local homeless population are disappearing. The Doctor takes Martha to New Earth, where she is kidnapped by two carjackers and taken to an underground Motorway, where the remainder of humanity on the planet live in perpetual gridlock. Meanwhile Connor relishes in nostalgia, while Charlotte continues to judge Martha's pining. Witness humanoid cat-people and mindless crab monsters in "Gridlock".

The Doctor takes Martha to London in 1599, where William Shakespeare is launching his new play. Meanwhile, Connor and Charlotte realise celebrities actually have personal lives outside of their professions. Witness Martha get shut down, and witches try to take over the world in "The Shakespeare Code".

The Doctor, along with hundreds of civilians, is transported to the Moon when an entire hospital is inexplicably relocated. Meanwhile, Connor and Charlotte discuss where an inexplicable vase came from, and what it means to be human. Witness a rhinoceros police force, and a blood-sucking Plasmavore in "Smith and Jones".

The Doctor is baffled when a young woman is transported to the TARDIS on her wedding day. Meanwhile, Connor reminisces about playing with his Doctor Who action figures, while Charlotte struggles to contain her hatred for the Racnoss. Witness a thrilling TARDIS chase on the motorway and the Robot Santas packing heat in "The Runaway Bride".
