Today Tim spoke with Ravon Johnson, the Church Engagement Program Manager at Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission. They discussed all the amazing things the Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission does for homeless people. Ravon also discussed their new project, Cornerstone, a 10-year plan to increase the reach and success of their programs, enabling them to serve more homeless neighbors more effectively.

Today Tim spoke with former Edmonds Mayor, Gary Haakenson. He was elected in 1999 and served in that role until July 2010. They talked about his career as a mayor, his life and also about the Edmonds Waterfront Center.

Tim talks to Christopher Williams, Deputy Superintendent of the City of Seattle Parks and Recreation department. They talk about the state of the parks in Seattle, park improvement and maintenance plans, and fun activities going on in the parks.

Today Tim spoke with Boris Borisov, the COO of Together Washington and a Spokane community leader. He migrated from Russia a long time ago and shared with Tim his story of arriving in Spokane, his experience as an immigrant, and more.

Tim spoke with Bart Wiley. Bart Wiley first started working for the Sounders in 2001, predating even majority owner Adrian Hanauer. Bart Wiley was a trusted advisor, executive for the past two decades for the Seattle Sounders. He helped to build Seattle Sounders FC into the community asset the club has become.
