The Pilot's Lounge

Nine seasons, 208 episodes, one blue French horn, and approximately 47 years of Ted Mosby saying, “Wait for it…” — and somehow, the mother gets less screen time than Barney’s suits. In The How I Met Your Mother finale, Barney becomes a dad, Marshall is climbing the judicial ladder, Robin finally shows up to a group event, and Ted’s love story takes one last detour straight into the nearest blue-ho...

Ted Mosby sees a cute girl at a bar and immediately decides she’s his future wife. Normal behavior! Meanwhile, Marshall proposes to Lily, Barney treats wearing a suit like a constitutional requirement, and the Olive Theory becomes relationship science for people who failed actual science. We’re kicking off nine seasons of questionable life choices, aggressive wingmanning, and Ted being the human e...

Nine seasons, one hospital, countless hallucinations, and somehow we ended up here. Scrubs says goodbye with “Our Thanks,” but instead of a heartfelt farewell to J.D., Turk, Elliot and the gang, we get a bunch of new interns, questionable life choices, a hole in the wall, and Cole discovering that being a surgeon is apparently his entire personality. Meanwhile, Turk is trying to turn him into a su...

J.D. has finally made it through medical school, only to discover that becoming a doctor means getting yelled at by Dr. Cox, bullied by Dr. Kelso, flirting with Elliot, hiding from patients, and letting nurses do basically anything that requires actual medical competence. Add Turk, a questionable amount of hospital sex, a possibly imaginary Janitor, and one very dead patient, and J.D.’s first thre...

🎓 The wig is off, the bags are packed, and apparently Miley has a decision to make. For our Hannah Montana Landing, Miley has to choose between college and a Spielberg movie, Jackson is getting beaten up by a kangaroo, Rico is somehow giving career advice, and Lilly is just trying to make it to Stanford without losing her best friend. Plus: questionable timelines, suspiciously convenient luggage...

🎤 Best of both worlds? More like best of both identities. This week, we’re heading back to 2006 to see if Hannah Montana still hits—or if the secret identity, ketchup moisturizer, and pie-to-the-face have us screaming “Sweet niblets!” Miley’s hiding Hannah from her best friend, Jackson is exploiting his sister’s fame for a date, and Lilly is one suspicious bracelet away from blowing the whole thi...

It’s the final episode of Suits and… what the hell is happening? Who the hell is Faye and why is she threatening everyone? Harvey is putting Mike on the stand? Katrina is apparently being extorted? And who is Katrina? Robert is mad about something... and who is Robert? Samantha is back... was she gone? Someone is committing perjury. Everyone is yelling. And somehow the solution is “One Last Con.”...

Mike Ross is a genius who never went to law school. Harvey Specter is a lawyer who apparently has never met a case he couldn’t win. So naturally, the solution is to hire Mike and hope nobody asks questions. We’re heading into Pearson Hardman to see where the suits, the lawsuits, the bromance, and Louis Litt’s general unpleasantness all began. Plus: Jessica runs the place, Donna knows EVERYTHING, a...

The BAU has survived 15 seasons, countless unsubs, several cast departures, and an absolutely unreasonable amount of trauma. Now it’s time to see if Criminal Minds can stick the landing. In “And in the End,” Reid is hallucinating dead teammates, Rossi is retiring, Garcia is leaving, and the team is blowing up a plane because apparently this is how the FBI handles retirement parties . We’re looking...

The BAU is here, the unsubs are unhinged, and apparently Dr. Reid can read 20,000 words per minute because being a genius wasn’t enough — he had to be a human Kindle. We’re breaking down “Extreme Aggressor,” from Gideon’s killer profiling skills and DJ Qualls being nightmare fuel to Garcia almost being a one-episode character and that $1.98 gas cliffhanger that feels more shocking than the serial...
