Parenting the Person Everyone Needs: Clarity. Giving your children clarity about the family's values is essential. Showing them they are a priority in your life by how you spend your time, modeling the parental roles, and teaching them Scripture are some ideas to give children clarity of your values.

Parenting The Person Everyone Needs Introduction. Whether you're a parent now, may be in the future, already have been, or have influence on a younger generation, your biggest task is to teach children how to obey God.

A Growing Leader knows that suffering will come and that it will bring perseverance, character, and hope. They have a winning attitude, a winning mindset, and winning habits, which means nothing is beneath them, nothing is beyond them, and there's nothing they can't become!

Collaborative leadership is about working with a team. No one does anything significant alone! 3 important elements to a great team are Unity, Diversity, and Adversity. 3 requirements to build and maintain a team are Commitment, Trust, and Accountability.

The Principled Leader finds their values and lives them out. They are an intentional person who focuses on what character they want to be in their own story.

This week's leadership discussion is on Communication. A communicative leader begins on common ground, keeps things simple, and understands the importance of repetition. 3 public speaking helpful tools are illustrations, questions, and visuals.

The third leader type is a Courageous Leader. A courageous leader has heart, much like King David shows and what Paul encourages in 2 Timothy. A courageous leader will do new things, difficult things, and the right things.

Today the leadership focus is on Vision. There are 3 components a visionary leader uses: direction, correction, and projection. They will make it plain where they want to go, be willing to adjust, and help others understand how they will get there.

This week starts a dive into the 7 characteristics of leadership. Servant Leaders are those who lead by helping and taking care of others. 3 essential qualities of a servant leader are someone who is aware, who has empathy, and who stewards relationships. Key quote of the week "If I wouldn't have served, I wouldn't have stayed."

In the final installment of an interview with Dr. Mark Rutland he shares who the person everyone needs is to him, followed by Pastor Webb's testimony of his time at Southeastern and the impact of having someone believe in you.

Dr. Mark Rutland rejoins Pastor Webb to give his take on Identity. "Who you are" cannot be wrapped up just in your race, your political affiliation, or social standing. We are accepted by Christ and are therefore acceptable, no matter what things from our past that Satan tries to bring back to our memory.

Dr. Mark Rutland joins the podcast to share insights on the relationship between Jonathan and David. The fact that Jonathan saw who David would become helped to pave his path to the throne because he offered 3 crucial covenants to David even though he had nothing to offer in return.

The last look into Identity, Destiny, and Legacy gives us an even deeper understanding of being a person of favor, valor, and honor - expressed through our faith, hope, and love.

You need a group! Honoring others is a mandate from the Bible, which means to give each person value no matter who they are. When you are with others in a group, you can all contribute to each other and to a common goal. Together you have the potential to change the world!

Consistent Contribution Creates Community. Being with people and contributing something to their lives, their group, or their situation is the best way to develop influence with them. Instead of being needy, look to meet needs!

The Person Everyone Needs will value people by taking time to see them, ask them questions, and listen. When you see the value in someone that no one else sees, you will have the ability to influence their lives like you never imagined.

"Time WITH is Never Time Wasted" is a theme you'll never forget. As you get older, you don't want to be "just sitting here dying." Recognize the blessing you have in those who have been with you and for you. Being WITH people is the way to impact others and leave a legacy.

The word "with" is the most important word in life. There are multiple instances in the Bible that show God is always with you and that you need people in life who are with you.

The Person Everyone Needs has confidence in the power God has given them - not always a power of explosiveness, but often a dynamic power that sustains you through life. You will also live in more confidence when focusing on the things you have the most control over.

In order to be successful, you need three types of people in your life - Leaders, Leaners, and Learners. You need people to guide you, people who will support you through your journey, and people who will let you teach them about what you've experienced. In the Apostle Paul's life, this is understood through Barnabas, Silas, and Timothy.

The 3rd list of becoming better relating to the Greatest Commandment is found in the list of 7 spirits from Isaiah 11. These describe how we can work to become better with our Head (mind). We wrap up with a few more great lists to keep in mind in your journey to become the Person Everyone Needs.

This week we learn about becoming better in 2 of the 3 facets of the Greatest Commandment (your Heart, your Hands, and your Head). The Fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5 are an example of getting better in your heart. The Spiritual Gifts in 1 Corinthians 12 are ways to become better through your hands.

Better. The Person Everyone Needs works on a plan for growth and success. They know that they must prepare to get where they want to go and make necessary steps to move in that direction.

The final “Be” statement is Be Steadfast, Immoveable - don’t be moved by anything in the world except faith and compassion. Listen to God, get a mentor, and don’t let anything stop you from going toward where you want to go and being who you want to be.

Legacy - Who (not What) are you leaving behind? The only way to influence people and leave a legacy is to spend time with them and love them.
