For some reason some of us get soft when it comes to protecting our peace. We still continuously pick up the phone answer text messages reply to emails from people we know we should be cutting ties with. People say, a man’s funeral says a lot about him and how he lived his life. I thought about this recently since my Grandfather passed and I’m curious…what will yours say about you?

Life isn’t always roses. Sometimes we are called to do things we never thought we had to do. I choose to do things that will prepare me for those moments. But what if they never happen? I usually reply with, but what if they do?

My kids are of the age where they are starting to get on social media now and they are seeing things that I am doing and they want to try them. Now because I post 99% positive I’m not too worried about that but it got me to thinking… What are most adults posting on their socials? Are we posting negative stuff and is it affecting our kids? Life is about choices, we can choose to make our life harder than it typically is or we can choose to make the right decisions and make our hard less difficult and more manageable. In the end it’s a choice.

Not every ending to a relationship in our lives has to end with a fight or argument. That goes for friendships, dating or even family. You can easily choose to walk away peacefully and outgrow or just slowly fade to the back. It happens…listen closely…

It’s ok to move on if we no longer fit the boxes people put us in. We all grow, or outgrow I should say. Sometimes the Safe Zones change and in turn change our relationships to some people.

We change, people change...but figuring out who we are and being ok with that is powerful. Sometimes we are the ones who change and grow...then we lose people. Other times, we are the ones walking away from someone we loved, supported or stood by who isn't the same person anymore. It's ok, it happens...but let's talk about it!
