Decan searches for a way to apologize to Teera. Zak returns to town with a stolen manuscript that reveals a secret weapon the Black Forge has created. Together they do what any respectable crew would: they think of a way to steal it. 

Confronted with the realization that the royal navy is involved in transporting the Drops, Decan cooks up a scheme to try and learn more.

Decan struggles to accept what has happened to Teera. Norn takes him to Bluewater Bay for some fresh perspective, where his eyes are opened to just how dangerous the Drops are. Decan realizes that other forces have been at play all along.

Decan and his crew go to meet a chieftain of the Black Forge. If all goes according to plan, they'll be able to earn some shil and keep a dangerous drug off their streets. They play a dangerous game though, and sometimes cleverness shrinks in the face of sheer strength. 

Norn helps arrange a meeting with one of the Chiefs of the Black Forge. Decan navigates his crew through a trap. 

Fueled by the information he learned from Norn, Decan cooks up a plan for an enormous heist. 

Suther makes a surprising find among the pirate captives of the Black Forge. Decan Reign hatches a plan that might just make him as rich as a prince. 

Decan Reign and his long time associate Suther find themselves bound hand and foot on the deck of a criminal's ship. Not all is at it seems though, and Decan is rarely as helpless as he appears.

The drama of Voslo and Kory comes to an end. Elsewhere, Princess Armeia reflects on the future of the Concordant, and some clever scheming by the Queen-Mother Leto Belrase results in a fated meeting. 

Battle erupts in the streets and halls of Ashgarden. Voslo comes to face to face with the fruit of his violent past. 

Voslo and the Captain visit with Cartheen to negotiate, but things don't go as hoped. Back at the estate, Armeia is missing, and something ominous has appeared in the sky.

The citizens of Ashgarden all share a mysterious dream, and the Confessors arrive to investigate heresy within the city. Voslo Stettman is forced to stand up for Armeia, and tensions grow between himself and the Landbaron's retinue.

Lord Ayan Thoto receives some guests who are not who they claimed to be, and a mysterious man who follows The Lion preaches to an audience. 

Voslo and Captain Bezrin tour The Ironway, the central hub for craftsmanship and trade in the city of Ashgarden. When the Captain is called away for something urgent, Voslo is ambushed by a familiar face, and then meets the woman leading the resistance. 

Kory and Voslo are called upon to attend breakfast with the Landbaron and his guests. Captain Bezrin returns with a report from Bear's Ford, and with a broken shield that raises more questions than answers. 

Voslo and Kory find the sprawling city of Ashgarden to be dark, destitute, and quiet. Citizens hide inside their houses, and bodies dangle from high poles in the streets. Unsure of what to make of it, they search for anyone who can lead them to the Landbaron, and to answers. 

Voslo and Kory set on their way to Ashgarden to meet the Landbaron of the Riverlands. Along the way they'll meet an unusual personality, and discover a small village where something has gone horribly wrong.

Voslo is disappointed about the outcome of his final duel, and wrestles with the grief that his childhood left him with. Suddenly retired, he struggles with finding new meaning. 

The day of the duel arrives. Kory and Voslo are escorted to the Raised Square, where the fight will happen in front of an audience. As they begin to duel, something about Darmeen bothers the aged master duelist. 

Lord Olney Bradan throws a lavish feast the evening before the duel. With hundreds of hopeful duelists gathered in one spot, Voslo must separate the wheat from the chaff, and choose who he will face at the Raised Square the following day.

Voslo finds an entertaining way to pass some time before his duel, and the youth of the Black Tower benefit from it.

Voslo and Kory get a noble invitation, and the master duelist must decide whether or not he wishes to accept an offer for a duel.

Voslo goes to Bradhall in the middle of the night to retrieve something that was stolen from Kory. He's a famous man though, and it's hard to travel without being recognized. 

Voslo and Kory make it to an Inn just outside the walls of Bradhall, where they get some news of the broader world, and Kory gets in trouble.

The famous duelist Voslo Stettman finds himself far in the countryside, and with a corpse he doesn't know what to do with, when he meets a traveling merchant.
