The Only One To Know

I wore a protester costume for halloween once, but it was before Vietnam war started to mean much more in American History.

I was at my grandparents' house when they turned on the TV to see what became the image of 9/11. Everybody was scared while I was sad the Train Center from Choo Choo Train got hit.

My parents called my grandparents over so they "could go on a date," but when my grandpa came in there was actually his whole family.

School was never fun for me, from the time I started and had to leave my mom to when I started to get bullied. It still affected me throughout my life...

You went to an all-inclusive hotel with my family and my parent's friends, it was very exciting to begin my traveling journey like that...

I sang the french song "Pirouette-Cacahuète" in front of a whole audience at my aunt's birthday, I'm still proud of me today as I look back at it...

Growing up, if I were to be scared of the dark, I would always put on my blanket to go to my parents room. I would be blinded and scared, but still did it again and again.

Growing up my dad would always pray over my bed before going to work. I didn't really know what it was until my grandma taught me how to pray.

I used to pick apples for my grandparents so that they could make apple ciders.

I remember being very young, inclined on my sit, and someone giving me a cat. It was as we were moving houses, and it stayed with me the whole drive.

I played a Magic Goose when I was three, I sang and acted, but at some point my mic fell off and I had to choose between sinking or swimming!

I remember getting out of the water the day I got baptized.

I am holding a fishing pole and I am throwing my line into this Lake, and I have this yellow tie top dress on, probably about three or four, and my grandmother is standing behind me and she says "did you catch anything yet?" So every time I see this dress, I remember of the only memory I have of my grandmother.

We lived on a farm, down in the country, and I was living outside by myself. We had this dog named pookie, and one day, he was scratching the door while I was was trying to open it, but I was so small I couldn’t do it, and my mom wouldn’t open it, thinking it was just the dog.

My mother and dad’s bed was in the basement, it was a big king size bed and I remember her nursing me on that bed…

I grew up with horses and cattles, and when I was 3 or 4, my dad and I went to check in the cattles, he put me on a horse, and told me to "be a man."

My mom had bipolar disorder, which made her very spontaneous. For example, one night she woke my sister and I in the middle of the night, we got in the truck and drove to the lake where they gave us hot chocolate.
