The Oddventurers

Once again we had headwinds, rough roads and we met some fun people outside a supermarket. Did Toms roll mat fix work and did Sam finally fix his cassette?

A smooth morning followed by a rather large but productive lunch stop was followed up by some hard miles into a headwind on a busy road. A fantastic dinner finished of the day nicely.

Another hard day on the salt flats battling the wind, made easier by meeting a couple of Aussies in an awesome Toyota and a camp spot to finish the day off.

The Baja served us up another hard one, cold, windy and rough. The salt flat did provide some fun in the evening though.

Day 17: After detouring from the Baja Divide route to get to the surf town of San Juanico we were met with a hard day of rocks, sand and hills. Bodies and mind hurting we finally got to our destination. Day 18: Rest day! And it was a good one. Hector our now Amigo hosted us, showed us all the surf breaks and took us to watch the Nova 500

Some bumpy but beautiful off road sections today which ended in a fantastic area with a great camp spot and a free beer!

A great day with fantastic weather that included jumping in the river a few times, running out of chain lube and finding a road!

Heading back into the backcountry, a hot day and illness for Sam slowed progress

Some rough roads and hot morning punctuated by a surprise in the form of a rattlesnake got the lads speeding into Ciudad Constitution where they stocked up and interacted with the locals. The day ended in some nice agricultural land and a fantastic sunset.

Some climbing, some flat road and a hot old day. Oh and we nearly ran over a rattlesnake!

Along the coast between La Paz and Ciudad Constitution the guy find themselves low on food and water and some bumpy roads.

The two protagonists leave La Paz and the cape loop and finally head northwards. With much more energy than the previous episode they explain their day which includes Walmart, the sun, other bike packers and a snake!

We left the pacific coast, passed through Todos Santos and finished in the mountains with 42 miles under our belts.
