In today's episode Casey brings his witty banter, or something like that anyway, back to the podcast while Cameron doesn't even remember to mention the name of the podcast until several minutes in... They review The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch. It is the first book in the Gentleman Bastard Series and clocks in at 499 hardcover pages long and was published in 2006.

In this quick episode Cameron restrains his urge to bloviate and Katie listened to her first ever audio book! Steelheart by Branden Sanderson runs 386 pages long and is the first book in the Reckoners series, which is completed.

Katie tells Cam he is thinking way too much about breasts in their review of The Black Prism by Brent Weeks. This book published in 2010 is the first book in the Lightbringer series and clocks in at 629 hardcover pages long.

Guest host Casey claims he's an expert on one thing or the other based on interwebs research and Cameron felt lost in time while reviewing The Forever War by Joe Haldeman. The book was published in 1974 and won every major award related to science fiction. 

We made it to ten episodes! Katie and Cameron discuss girl power in the second book we have reviewed by Mark Lawrence. Red Sister is 469 pages long and is the first book in a planned trilogy.

Barry and Cam play good cop, bad cop while reviewing this book by Jade Jesser. Sorry for the long delay between the last two episodes but we should be back on schedule for the next little bit! Cameron proves he has no attention to detail and Katie proves she is by far the more clever of the pair. The Dragonbone Chair by Tad Williams was first published in 1988 and is considered a classic of the fantasy genre. It clocks in at 672 pages long in paperback and is the first book in a four book "trilogy".

Cam worries as Katie once again misses her climax while guest Chris gets deep and insightful while quoting a metal band. The Affinities by Robert Charles Wilson is 300 hardcover pages long.

Cameron poorly times his cold medicine while Katie braves her ills drug-free, but ends up just as addled as they discuss Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. This is the first book in a duology and is 462 pages long in paperback. 

Cam wouldn't leave rotating wives for revenge and special guest Barry scoffs at spoiling a 70 year old book while katie sits this one out.

Cameron meanders even longer than usual and Katie insults his homeland. They discuss His Majesty's Dragon by Naomi Novik, the fist book in the Temeraire series. 353 pages paperback.

Cameron goes Old Testament while Katie says 'absolutely' way too many times as they discuss the 5th Season, the 2016 Hugo Award winning novel by NK Jemisin. The 5th Season is the first book in The Broken Earth trilogy and clocks in at 468 pages in paperback.

Pepper crashes the party while Cam & Katie discuss the Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. The Name of the Wind is the first book in the Kingkiller Chronicle by Patrick Rothfuss. Published in 2007, Rothfuss' debut novel comes in at 722 (softcover) pages. 

Katie pictures a naked lady and Cam reminisces about ancient Rome while discussing Prince of Thorns by Mark Lawrence. Published in 2012, the Prince of Thorns is the first novel in the Broken Empire Trilogy by Mark Lawrence.
