The Nerd Book Review:The Tractor Seasons

In today's episode Cameron and Chris discuss The Greay Bastards by Jonathon French. The novel was originally self published and won the 2nd SPFBO competition and has recently been re-released by Crown Publishing. 

Today's episode is Firewalk by Chris Roberson. Chris and I discuss this novel published in 2016 by Nightshade Books. It is 356 Hard cover pages long and is the first novel in the Recondito series.

We're back! In this episode Cameron and Katie have Dani from the Book Geeks Uncompromised podcast on with us to discuss Jade City by Fonda Lee. We had a great time discussing this novel that was published earlier this year (2018) by Orbit Books. It clocks in at 512 pages and is the first book in The Green Bones Saga.

In this episode Barry and Cameron discuss Virtual Light by William Gibson. Virtual Light was published in 1993 and clocks in at 304 pages long. Gibson has won the Hugo, Nebula, and Philip K Dick award during his career and is credited with coining the term "cyberspace". His first novel, Neuromancer, won every major award and is credited by many as starting the cyberpunk genre. 

In this episode Cameron and Chris interview SPFBO 2017 Finalist Rob Hayes. His novel, Where Loyalties Lie, is a flintlock pirate novel that Chris and I both enjoyed. This interview contains what may be the best 1* review story ever! I hope you all enjoy.

Since there is a little disagreement about this novel Cameron is clearly correct and Casey is clearly wrong since Cameron is the one writing this!
