Nate sits down with SUNY Oneonta Women's Soccer Coach, Liz McGrail. Liz is a Stamford graduate, and is one of the most decorated high school athletes in local history. They discuss her playing days including being a highly successful 3-sport college athlete at Oneonta. Coach also talks recruiting and shares a little family background, where she is one of 12 in the big McGrail clan!

Nate welcomes Edmeston Boys Basketball and Baseball Coach, Darren Belden to the podcast. Coach B is an ECS alum and discusses his passion for working in his hometown district. He talks about how the community has embraced the recent success of both of his teams. Darren also takes us back in time to his kid's playing days when the Panthers won multiple state titles in soccer and baseball.

Nate catches up with Unatego grad, Nate Wilsey on this episode of the podcast. Nate was a 3-sport athlete for the Spartans and went on to play football at SUNY Brockport. They talk sports memories, life lessons and have a bunch of laughs. Thanks to Nate for being so open!

Nina was adopted from Russia, and she shares her feelings and struggles with not knowing her biological family. Her adopted family moved from Boston to Edmeston, and she tells us what the transition from the big city to small town life was like.

Nate talks business with Norwich grads, Tyler Slater and Nate Foote. This dynamic duo is attempting to launch a new fitness app called "Lift Off." This app will serve as a fitness tracker that also has a fun social aspect to it. Tyler and Nate are currently raising funds to make this dream a reality. Listen in to learn more! 

Nate welcomes local sports photographer, Ben Patton to the podcast. Ben shoots for The Walton Reporter newspaper. They talk about his career from photographing NFL and NASCAR events to state championship games here in New York. Ben also enjoys traveling and discusses taking photos all over the world.

Nate brings local sports photographers Ricky and Jason MacPherson back for another appearance on the podcast. The guys talk about what it has been like to be out snapping photos at games again. They also discuss more of their favorite memories and tell us about their volunteer service at two local fire departments.  

Nate welcomes Whitney Point Field Hockey Coach, Nicole Huston, to the podcast. Coach H led the Eagles to 5 straight NYS titles from 2014-2018. She has continued the tradition of great success for the WP program. They talk about her coaching philosophies, playing career and her early coaching days at Harpursville. 

Nate sits down with Scott Whiteman. Scott is the Sports and Recreation Director at Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown. He specializes in training local athletes at the high school and college levels. He has worked with hundreds of basketball players including standouts like Liz Millea, Tyler Bertram, Laycee Drake, Jack Lambert and many more.

Nate chats with Roxbury alumna, Kaelie Van Loan. She graduated in 2014 and was a standout athlete for the Rockets, excelling in soccer and skiing. Kaelie talks about her love for the outdoors, especially hunting. She tells us about her experience shooting a bear and what it's like to be a female hunter. 

Nate hangs out with G-MU grad, Hunter Lockwood on this episode of the podcast. Hunter graduated in 2018 and helped lead the Raiders to the TVL basketball title in his senior season. He also joined the 1,000 career point club during the championship game. The guys talk about Hunter's favorite basketball memories and we find out what he is up to today.

Nate releases a highly anticipated episode with Jim and Adam Hoover from the Walton Football program. The Hoover coaching tree spans back 3 generations, and we get to hear the history behind building the Walton dynasty. A must listen episode for any Section IV football fan.

Nate sits down with father/daughter combo, Jordan and Jaelyn Jaquay from Cherry Valley-Springfield. They talk about the great history and legacy of the CV-S track & field program. Jaelyn tells us about where she is going to run in college, and Jordan talks about his upcoming retirement after 30 years in teaching and coaching.

Nate connects with Windsor senior, Ethan Reed. Ethan just signed his NLI to play D2 college football at the University of New Haven. They talk about the recruitment process and what it's like to play a demanding position like quarterback. Ethan is a very religious athlete and tells us about how he lives his life based around his faith.

Nate sits down with Oneonta alumna, Taylor Colone-Microni. Taylor now plays basketball at SUNY Morrisville. They look back on her time at OHS where she was a 3-sport athlete and excelled in basketball. Taylor is incredibly open and honest in this episode. She talks about her experiences being an openly gay athlete and how she has dealt with losing her mom at an early age.

Teddy is currently a freshman at Wake Forest University and is playing D1 baseball for the Demon Deacons.  They talk about his very successful high school career at OHS and how it was cut short by Tommy John surgery. Teddy tells us about his recovery and how his fall season went at Wake.
