Jesus promises living water, the presence of the Holy Spirit, to renew and refresh all who come to him.

People around Jesus are starting to think things aren’t going as well for Him as they would do if He did and said what they expected. This talk looks at what they said, how Jesus responded and what it all means for us.

In this Biblical story, many disciples turned their back on Jesus because His words were hard to hear. Following Jesus is not always easy - but where else would we go? He has the words of eternal life!

The Bible encourages us - in fact commands us - to not just live for today, but to always be thinking about future generations. Will we pass on what we have found and enjoyed so that other generations will also trust in God.

What are you feeding your soul with? In John 6:25 –40, Jesus says : "I am the bread of life." So often we fill our lives with things that promise satisfaction—success, comfort, performance, experiences—but still leave us empty. Jesus invites us to stop chasing temporary things and come to the only One who truly satisfies.

Sometimes all of us are at sea, sometimes all of us face storms. How do we find hope in the midst of them?

Filled with the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, the early church went out and changed the world for Jesus - with today's church carrying on the work!
