My delayed desires may cause initial despair. My deferred dreams may cause immediate despondency, but when my expectations are realised, it will be sweet and satisfying and my soul will be revived and refreshed.

We need have no fear of someone who loves us perfectly; His perfect love for us eliminates all dread of what He might do to us. If we are afraid, it is for fear of what He might do to us and shows that we are not fully convinced that He really loves us.

Praises and thanksgiving to the Lord who provides for my needs. He overloads me with His goodness, overwhelms me with His grace, My Defender, My Deliverer, the Source of my salvation.

I am singing the Lord’s praises because He treats me generously. He has granted me life and preserved it. He has promised deliverance, and I am expecting it. I am singing the Lord’s praises because He has been good to me.

I am encouraged because God has promised to go before me. He has pledged to be beside me. He is leading, guiding and protecting me. Today, tomorrow and always.

I am placing my burden on the Lord: my fears, my tears, my cares. He is supplying my bread; my water is sure. He keeps me steady, so that I don’t falter or fall

All God’s promises are reliable and resolute and are certain and sure in Jesus. By faith I say Amen.

I am finding satisfaction and gratification as I am asking, and God is providing for my good and His glory.

I am peaceful knowing that You are in control. I am in awe of Your great power. I am thrilled knowing that there is nothing too hard for You

In eternity past He saved me not with promptings or persuasion but in pursuance of His own purpose. Not for my works which then did not exist, it is all by grace and only by this

Two sparrows are sold for a penny, yet not one of them will fall to the ground without God’s consent. I am more valuable than many sparrows. Therefore, I am calm and peaceful, because I am trusting God’s incredible ability to care for each detail of my life. He knows the number of strands of hair I have or should have had.

God is transforming my situation. He is turning my sorrow to gladness, my illness to full health, my insecurity to self-worth. He is converting me from sinner to saint; my spirit of despair to hope; my poverty into prosperity. He is working for my good and His glory.

I may sneer and sigh in disbelief. I may laugh with mingled doubt and delight. My abilities may be gone. The delay may seem long. Even if it seems incredible or impossible, God’s Power can accomplish it.

God is waiting with eager expectation that He may intervene effectively. I am taking it on trust, for as long as I must, awaiting the influx of His mercy and the entry of His grace, because the Lord my God is faithful.

I am confident about the future, because no matter where God’s providence leads me, He is providing for me and protecting me. He is with me always. He is fulfilling every promise and pledge He proposed for my life.

I am grateful to God that neither sin nor death is the end of my story. His death is the power by which I will overcome sin. His resurrection is the down payment for my resurrection. I thank God for the victory through Jesus Christ

The Lord who has compassion on me says, “Even if the mountains shake and the hills crumble, My unconditional love for you will remain steadfast.” The agreement that He will keep me peaceful is irrevocable

Like You stilled the storm to a whisper and hushed the howling winds. Calm the tempest of my soul and speak peace to my restless mind.

The Lord is ready to hear and to hold those who are burdened with a broken heart. The Lord is ready to help and to heal those who are crushed by sorrow and suffering.

If only I could trust past the fear and pain and get a glimpse of what God has in mind. Out of all the painfulness, He says He will cause a good thing, a new thing to be born.

I stop my ears to the noises around. I quiet my mind as well as my heart. My will is silent, my tastes and desires too. I am still. I am resting in God. My hope comes from Him alone.

The source of my salvation is grace. It has nothing to do with my worth or my worthlessness. It has nothing to do with anything I have done or could ever do. Even the faith that I exercise in receiving that gift of salvation, is a gift.

The Lord is my Helper. I am depending directly on Him. He is handpicking those that will help me. He is my Defender. He is delivering me out of all my difficulties. He is waging war on my behalf.
