The James Perspective

On today's episode, James, Glenn, and Charlotte open Conspiracy Friday under an overcast sky (Dr. Evil suit and all), with Dwayne joining as Charlotte heads back to work. We geek out over last night's Tesla Roadster reveal: a Hot Wheels half-loop, a suction fan, cold-air thrusters, and Elon looking like a dad with his first baby. Glenn's theory is that the kick-flips are softening the ground for a...

On today's episode, James, Glenn, and Dwayne get ready for tonight's Tesla reveal at 7:55. Is that a nod to 1955 and Back to the Future? Glenn predicts two Roadsters, one of them a flying car, and Dwayne says there's no reason to shut down airspace if it doesn't fly. First, Dwayne connects old Ethernet switches to the rail-yard switch as former SpaceX engineers build self-driving, battery-powered...

On today's episode, James and Glenn welcome Pastor Jimmy Williams to dig into ecclesiology: how should a church be governed? We walk the spectrum from Catholic hierarchy to Baptist autonomy and land on Jimmy's Methodist Protestant middle path, where the conference can remove a rogue pastor but a living congregation can still disaffiliate and keep the building. Jimmy explains his "oddball" altar ca...

Then James reads a University of Louisiana System letter on Louisiana Tech's finances, from held-back raises to a bond downgrade, a...

On today's episode, James and Glenn welcome Sarah for a Conspiracy Friday deep dive into the Cornell Seven, with Joshua joining partway through. She also covers the texts and the timeline, and Cornell's own 99-pag...

On today's episode, James, Glenn, Dwayne, Mark, and David welcome Joshua to the table for Technology Thursday. What's the future for young people when AI is coming for entry-level law and medicine, and why did Anthropic go lobbying the Vatican? Dwayne wants every 3L to take Musk's Grok course, warns that your next boss may be an AI agent, and explains how one human could plug in a whole fleet of C...

On today's episode, James and Glenn welcome Pastor Jimmy Williams to dig into the doctrine of courage. Is courage the absence of fear, or faith that moves forward anyway? We weigh Aristotle's golden mean between cowardice and recklessness, from snake handlin...

He shares stories from 37 years on both sides of the courtroom, explains ho...

Glenn is out donating blood for a friend facing a second Whipple surgery, and Charlotte is in the filename again but not on the mic. The soft open brings the first Pacific front, Almanac wet-fall talk, and a Hoover Dam low-water detour. Then Trump's Secret Service grounds the aircraft, so he storm-chases an Oklahom...

On today's episode, Technology Thursday with the Fearsome Threesome opens in the green room with Dwayne walking Mark through why the latest SpaceX Starship flight was not the "egg on face" the anti-Musk press claims. On today's episode, James sits down with Pastor Jimmy Williams, the Giant Preacher, with a Dwayne sighting, vacuum-fueled hibernation and harvest festivaling in the green room, and a "stone the crows" lyric from Joseph before they land on anger. They start with a Science Alert piece showing that venting and punching bags don't reduce anger. From there it's Jimmy's own anger-management story after...

On today's episode, Legal Tuesday with James, Dwayne, and Ben on the phone. Glenn is stuck on mute and cussing on the drive back from the Illuminati conference, so the green room reboots the Roadie mic and rolls without him. The guys open on the opposite of Musk: Bill Gates as an overrated Silicon Valley pirate, Ben's man-on-the-street chatter about GMO ticks and alpha-gal bioterror, and Dwayne's...

On today's Technology Thursday, James, Glenn, Mark LaGrone, Dwayne, and David on the phone open with Maple Street Blend and a full PJ's Exit 33 plug, send Glenn off to an Illuminati banquet, and watch an AI actress glitch into Chinese before admitting this hour is really Crypto Thursday. Mark explains why the Clarity Act failing on September 15 plus a rate hike should have crushed Bitcoin, and why...

On today's episode, James sits down with Pastor Jimmy Williams—the Giant Preacher—for a no-notes deep dive on the Trinity that starts with ragweed, seminary reading loads, and a Tesla near-miss that left James winging it from the farm truck. From Nicaea and the Constantinopolitan Creed through Apocrypha fights, Jerome, and why quoting Maccabees isn’t the same as Scripture, Jimmy walks logos, Ruach...

On today's episode, Conspiracy Friday rolls with James, Glenn, Dwayne, and a rare Mark LaGrone Friday sighting (Charlotte’s out sick—or maybe just deep-cleaning for weekend company). James walks through real AI agents in a law office—and what happens when your bots start looping each other into a token bill—then deep-...

On today's episode, we discuss the purpose and meaning of baptism, examining its Jewish roots in ritual cleansing and its development within Christian faith traditions. The hosts consider how differences over immersion, sprinkling, wording, infant baptism, and denominational practice can distract from the deeper questions of covenant, obedience, and spiritual transformation. They argue that baptis...

On today's episode, Legal Tuesday with James, Glenn, and Dwayne (Tim in the room; Ben sat out) opens on “we lost the midterms” after the Supreme Court denied Trump’s emergency stay on the Postal Service mail-ballot rules — Kavanaugh’s concurrence on midterm prejudice, Alito’s dissent, and a district-court Elections Clause win that leaves the injunction in place. They unpack Paxton vs Talafrico (Ta...
