The second month of the Halloween Hustle is here and this week we are taking you back with an MST3K classic! In this movie, a scientist gets his girlfriend killed but saves her head and goes around acting like a weirdo to find her a new body. FUN! The first month of The Halloween Hustle is ending with the first X-Files movie! PJ knows nothing about the show, except for the theme and is not happy about picking it out of the bag. We also talk about accents, choosing whether to be infected with black oil or a facehugger, bootleg movies, Star Trek, Matlock, The Great Depression, X-Files video games and tell stories of being blackout drunk. We b...

PJ couldn't make it this week so Brendan from the What Were They Thinking Podcast joins Brent to talk about one of the weirdest movies ever done on the show. The box made it look like a run of the mill slasher movie but it was not at all what you'd expect, the Halloween Hustle is strong this week. Brent and Brendan also talk about the All In wrestling event, The Room, Hell In A Cell, Scarface, Jac...

It's week 2 of the Halloween Hustle and PJ is back! This time he picked a movie that many consider a classic, but he has not seen it before. Will PJ put the original Halloween up there at the top with other horror classics or will this be another Star Wars situation? Discussions are also had about serial killers, Bonnie & Clyde, the lack of sexiness in R&B, The Boogeyman from WWE, D.A.R.E. and all...

The Halloween Hustle begins this week but unfortunately PJ could not be here so Brent and The Spirit are talking about the 2006 remake of, "The Hills Have Eyes!" Lots of people have told us how much they love this remake, even better than the original in some cases, but will we agree? You also get history lessons from The Spirit, Brent rants about antenna TV, music battles are had, Spirit learns w...

It's the last week before the Halloween Hustle begins and it's ending strong with Mortal Kombat: Annihilation! This movie is universally hated but let's see if it's as bad as they say. This week is a longer episode because Brent drops lots of Mortal Kombat knowledge but conversations are also had about dumb kids and violent video games, our favorite childhood commercials, Vigilante 8 and Phantasma...

The hype streak continues with The Punisher from 1989 starring Dolph Lundgren! Brent recently picked up the Australian blu-ray that has three versions of this flick so this time we're talking about the workprint version and trying to figure out why the studio would cut out all of the character development! Of course other topics are covered such as, PJ's Spider-Man insanity, The Blob remake, Ameri...

PJ is hyped up this week because he's a huge Denzel Washington fan and he's wanted to talk about this flick for a long time! It doesn't happen often but this is also a movie that PJ's seen but Brent hasn't. As usual other things are also talked about, such as The X-Files, the Y2K scare of the 90's, HQ, outdated sex terms, beef with Disney, black time travel and alot of hip hop talk. There's also a...

It's finally happened, PJ finally pulled a James Bond flick out of the bag and it's the original from 1962, Dr. No. The hype levels are extremely high this week and Brent cannot contain himself! PJ picked another video game movie for us to watch and this time it's DOA: Dead or Alive. There's half naked women getting in fights for the majority of the movie so it cant be that bad right? PJ also learns about the new Dumbo movie coming out, Brent talks at length about jiggle physics and then goes in depth about the history of No Limit Records and telling PJ about Kevin Nash and the origin of...

We were short on time this week and had to watch something short, so Brent had the idea to watch this promo cartoon for the first Mortal Kombat movie. It tells the stories of the original cast of characters from the 1992 video game (except Kano for some reason) and boasts hand drawn animation AND CGI! Brent gets his geek on today and talks way too much about games most people don't like and PJ eve...

It's Friday the 13th and we are celebrating it by watching...Friday the 13th! PJ had never seen this one before either. We had alot of fun this episode and after a long intro we get into the movie and laugh at wheelchair kills, stupid teenagers and take in all the gory kills. Also in this episode we discuss the best ways to die, porno plots and genres, The Last Airbender movie, try to figure out w...

This week was hectic and we couldn't get a new episode recorded so I figured it may be fun to look back at some of our favorite moments from past episodes and reminise and laugh and hear all the old running jokes that we forgot about. These clips all come from the first 20 or so episodes and some are fan favoritres and some are ones we laugh at to this day. We will be back with a new show next wee...

The convo about the movie goes kinda quick because the movie was only 59 mins long but the convo afterw...

Have you ever been fooled by a promising dvd cover at the video store? We were definitely fooled by this one but it brought about a really fun episode. The movie this week is Survival of the Illest and it stars a bunch of people you dont probably know and some rappers you should know, like Scarface, E-40, Bun-B and Big Moe! It was a struggle to find the plot for this one. Also on the show, you can...

We're keepin' it hood this week and are talking about King of New York from 1990, directed by Abel Ferrera and starring Christopher Walken, Laurence Fishbourne, David Caruso, Wesley Snipes and has a bomb soundtrack by Schoolly-D! The Hood Hustle is still on and we got another Roc-A-Fella Records flick and this time it's Paid In Full from 2002. This one stars Mekhi Phifer, Wood Harris and Cam'Ron as three guys trying to make money in the drug game and dealing with all the things that comes with it and it's even inspired by real events. There is a strong hip-hop influence on this episode as we sing multiple old school songs,...

PJ is back this week and to celebrate I let him pick the movie we watched and he picked the hood classic, "State Property" from 2002. This movie is starring all the top Roc-A-Fella hip hop artists from around that time and it gives us plenty to talk about. We are also joined by the spirit in this episode and later in the show we have a second spirit pop up so it's a full house this episode! After...

PJ is out again this week but The Spirit has stepped back in and she brings to you this week, Black Mama White Mama! This is an early Pam Grier flick from the "Women In Chains" subgenre that was somehow popular in the 60's and 70's. Is this just another exploitative film for women or is this a feminist classic? Also hear all about some craziness going on in the world today and Brent has a few tips...

It's time for another flick that PJ hasn't seen and this time it's "The Human Centipede" from 2009. This movie is notorious for it's story of three people being sewn anus to mouth but is this movie any good, is it even that scary? Listen and find out what we think about it and if we even like it. We are also joined by The Spirit this week and she definitely has some things to say about this movie...

The Hustle has been going strong for a whole year! To celebrate we are giving you a long, jam packed episode where we talk about Blackenstein from 1973. This flick is a blaxploitation horror joint that of course is a remake of Frankenstein and is really weird. Yeah, who would've thought right? We also answer some questions and get into some discussions about Kanye (Unfortunately), Childish Gambino...

The Hustle is back on after taking a week off! Unfortunately PJ is still out but luckily Brendan from the "What Were They Thinking" Podcast has stepped in to help talk about "Ghetto Blaster" from 1989, starring Richard Hatch. This movie is nothing but a Death Wish knock off but somehow this discussion lasted longer than the movies run time! This was a real fun episode and it's full of Brent and Br...
