Taken from Psalm 84:11. The right thing pleases the Lord and are we a husbands/fathers/leaders of our home doing the right thing?

What happens when we don’t address our hearts and the beliefs we have. As men we can easily believe that if we provide for our families we deserve respect. Is that true? Or are we operating out of a wound we have from growing up?

Are you struggling in your circumstance?  As fathers and husbands there will be many times that we find our selves struggling and questioning God.  And that is where this Psalm speaks truth because after everything David goes through and after he lays it all out to God he cannot help but end with Yet...you are Holy.

My wife turned to me the other day after our leading our parenting course at Church and said "Wow, what a difference it makes when a Dad get's it."  Our decision to take ownership IN the home makes a difference, yet more often then naught we let our wives take the front in that department.
