On February 27, 1972 Led Zeppelin played an outdoor show in Sydney, Australia. Zeppelin only toured Australasia once at it was a doozy! This is a high energy outdoor show to an appreciative Aussie crowd. Only live performance of The Rover as well. A good one!

This is a fun one! Led Zeppelin on November 16, 1971 in Ipswich UK, at St Mathews Baths. A small gig on their Winter UK tour, debuting the brand new Led Zeppelin IV. We hear the ultra rare Gallows Pole, as well as brand new numbers Black Dog, Rock and Roll, plus a rollicking Whole Lotta Love, and Eddie Cochran's Weekend. Top notch, folks.

A beautiful Mike Millard capture of The Kinks on June 25, 1978 Los Angeles, CA. Touring in support of their Misfits album, the band plays the hits, as well as a lot of songs from Misfits, and Sleepwalker. A great show. You'll enjoy it.

Two Jimmy Page era Yardbirds shows were recently released, and we give a listen to songs from both of them July 1967 at the Fillmore West and May 29, 1968 in Concord, California (just a few months before Led Zeppelin's birth). We hear Jimmy leading us all toward Led Zeppelin, his vision of what music should be. It's a bit chaotic but a good listen.

Neil Young played an acoustic show on August 18, 1989 in Costa Mesa, California. Mike Millard was there to record it and I'm hear to present it. The show is fantastic as Neil plays a 17 song set solo. You'll like this quite a bit.

We finish our look into Led Zeppelin's first ever Asian performance, Sept. 23, 1971 in Tokyo. Beautiful performances of Dazed, What Is And What Should Never Be, & Communication Breakdown are heard. It's a good one. Zeppelin at the top of their game.

This is a brand new Led Zeppelin soundboard recording from Jan 18, 1975, Bloomington, MN. Aside from sounding amazing it has a live performance (partial) of the Wanton Song! That song was only played a handful of times and never in soundboard quality. An amazing release liberated by The Dogs of Doom.

On May 5, 1980 Genesis played an intimate show at The Roxy, in West Hollywood, for 500 fans. Mike Millard was there to capture this amazing performance with is amazing equipment. This was part of the tour for Duke, as Genesis was transitioning from prog to more AOR pop. It's a great show.

Led Zeppelin played to 70,000 on June 3, 1977 but only for three songs, because a torrential thunderstorm forced them to cancel the rest of the show. It's a shame because the performances are fierce, and this would likely have been one of the great shows from this tour, had fate not intervened. JEMS graces us with another Mike Millard master recording to share. This time it's U2 in LA on April 12, 1992 in support of Achtung Baby. One can't stress how huge this band was back then The show is amazing, the recording is excellent, and the audience is incredibly locked in. It's a magical night.

A great show from Lou Reed at his 1980's peak resurgence. Every decade he renewed his relevance, and the New York album was his 1980's high water mark. June 3, 1989 Paris is the show I play, along with a bonus 2013 live performance of Cremation. Powerful.

We revisit July 17, 1973 Seattle for a listen to Dazed and Confused, and No Quarter, which are amazingly performed. Jimmy and company are on it tonight, and you will be delighted. A great upbeat show from Led Zeppelin's ninth North American tour.

In honor of the great Fleetwood Mac guitarist's passing (easily the equal of Clapton, Beck, Page, or even Hendrix) I bring you a jam with Eric Clapton and (maybe) Joe Walsh, as well as my favorite live Green Manalishi ever, including a 10 minute Peter Green solo on a Fender VI bass. This is a great show from Led Zeppelin's 9th US Tour. July 17, 1973 in Seattle, WA and it's a scorcher. I use two sources for this and they're both multi-source matrix recordings and they both sound awesome. This is a fun one from the Four Lads.

We get another Mike Millard master from JEMS, and it's the Rolling Stones, October 22, 1989 in Los Angeles. A great capture of the reunited Rolling Stones on their Steel Wheels tour. I play 2000 Light Years from Home, Gimme Shelter, Miss You, and Tumbling Dice.

I finally cover John Paul Jones with his group Them Crooked Vultures, which includes Josh Homme, and Dave Grohl. I play a trio of live songs from three different performances from 2009/2010. New Fang, Caligulove, and an EPIC Spinning in the Daffodils.

We listen to Steve Winwood jamming with the Grateful Dead on November 16, 1970, at the Fillmore East. I play Hard to Handle, Not Fade Away>Going Down The Road Feelin' Bad>Not Fade Away w/ Steve Winwood sitting in on Pigpen's Hammond organ. Good Stuff.

We listen to Eddie Edward's release of Led Zeppelin's August 18, 1969 evening concert at Toronto's Rockpile. This is a great show from the North American Summer tour and we hear Train Kept A Rollin', White Summer/Black Mountainside. You Shook Me, and Communication Breakdown. Great recording. Great show. Great band.

JEMS released another Mike Millard master, Suzy Quatro at the LA Forum, opening for Alice Cooper, June 17, 1975. The recording is clear and crisp and the performance is rocking.

Taken from the pre-FM reels as well as an audience source, this March 14, 1969 radio show from Stockholm Sweden delivers a fiery young Led Zeppelin. Three months in and they're already co headlining rather than opening shows. The recordings are dodgier than I typically play but still enjoyable. Thank you!
