Even those who say they are walking with Jesus can find themselves fighting against God; especially when God’s plan doesn’t make sense to us. In those moments, do we make following God what WE think is best, or do we surrender to the One we call Lord and do what He says?

What does the story of Ananias and Sapphira have to do with temples? The connection takes us back to a very similar story in Joshua and teaches us a valuable lesson.

Acts 4 sees more promises of Jesus fulfilled as the Holy Spirit continues to move through the obedience of His people.

We left off in Acts 2 with 3,000 people giving their lives to Jesus and responding for salvation… so what does the Church do now?

The wait is over. The Holy Spirit is here! But are we giving Him everything and walking with Him in the miraculous AND the mundane?

The resurrected Jesus, right before he ascended into Heaven told his disciples to wait for the power of the Holy Spirit. And how these 120 disciples waited can teach us a lot about how we can wait on the Spirt today.

Jesus' farewell words, though not "ta ta for now", remind us to focus on God's kingdom, wait on the Spirit and disciple with others as the Spirit disciples with us.

In three different sections, Jesus gives His disciples three different commissions. Then, to top it all off, He gives us a not so secret power to accomplish any mission He could ever send us.

To be ( a disciple) or not to be ( a disciple), that is the question.

A look at the teachings of the resurrected Jesus forces us to take a look at the ugly truth that faces us in the mirror of the Gospel, but that truth also exposes the radical grace of our Lord and Savior.

As we look at the teachings of the resurrected Jesus, there is a balance of imbalance we must come to terms with.

Do you LIVE like the resurrection is an actual reality or just a feel good story?
