In this Colossians passage, Jesus is presented as the creator and sustainer of the universe, yet personal and approachable. We find the universal storylines are Jesus’ to tell: Creation (how did all things come to be), Fall (how did it go wrong), Redemption (how it’s made right), and Restoration (how it will end).
