We conclude our study of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount with the parable of the two builders. The point of the parable has to do with where we rest our foundation for life and living.

In concluding his Sermon on the Mount, Jesus makes distinctions between true and false beliefs, true and false teachers, and true and false followers. In a sermon in which he has offered himself as the ultimate authority on what’s true and what’s false, this is an expected conclusion.

Here is the second time Jesus addressed prayer in his Sermon on the Mount. But this time Jesus speaks less about how to pray, more about why. In today’s message, we’ll learn what it means to ask, seek, and knock, and why it matters that we persist in doing so.

In our text this morning from the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus addresses judgment and judgmentalism. What’s the difference and why does it matter?
