The Gay Power Half Hour

This week it’s Casey’s birthday and he gets high with Tony to celebrate so the show goes a little long. Casey’s therapist tells him that they have some work to do, Tony may be conjuring natural disasters, celebrities houses are on fire and the boys respond to a listener’s email calling out Casey’s privilege. It’s a birthday party!

This week the boys wrap up the midterm elections and are ready to stop talking about “shithole” states. Dems win the house, Trump is still in charge and the boys are bracing for what is bound to be an exhausting two more years.

This week, the boys talk about pipe bombs and blackface or as conservatives call it, Halloween! Yet another gay Trump supporter gets caught on camera being a grand ol’ racist and Tony is thinking hate crimes. Casey is starting therapy and Tony has prepared a checklist for the doctor.

This week, Casey and Tony talk about why they wouldn’t have been friends in high school and it devolves into name-calling. The president of the United States calls a woman “horseface” and America doesn’t care so the boys have a long discussion over whether we should.

This week Casey and Tony try to stay away from politics but literally get a text message from the President which reals them back in. Tony is worried about giving away his hair for wigs and that not enough people are dying from selfies. Casey is worried about a new form of hepatitis that’s jumped from rats to humans. Uh oh, spaghetti-AIDS

This week the boys have an immediate hot take on the Kavanaugh hearing. This episode is triggering.

Casey goes to Canada and Tony is tired of hearing about it. Tony is struggling to be emotional about his esophageal trauma and Casey is concerned about it. Tony isn’t thrilled that gays are still trying to claim Bert and Ernie while Casey finds a Mr Rogers documentary and a possible Canadian passport on his way to Toronto. All this and a mature discussion about presidential phalluses.

This week’s the boys are back from Mexico. Barely... Tony has a medical emergency in Puerto Vallarta that ultimately proves the strength of their friendship and the resilience of Tony’s esophagus. And they are both so tan!

The boys are back this week with stories of Casey’s life on the road. Casey’s worried that the podcast won’t survive its trip to Mexico while Tony is just ready to sit on a beach in a speedo. Tony is “reading” Omarosa’s book which is leading him to believe Trump might actually be a bad guy and the boys dissect the competing funerals for John McCain and Aretha Franklin.

Casey is on the east coast where he is not impressed with the malls of the future, gave himself heatstroke and doesn’t forget to never forget. Tony is journaling, angry at priests and willing to take one for the team and die in a natural disaster. All that and a surprise Carol Channing revelation.

This week, Casey receives a compliment from Tony that quickly turns into anger. Tony calls so many people stupid, Casey is compelled to defend some of them and the boys try to keep a conversation about cop shootings “light.”

Treason season starts this week on the show as Tony and Casey stand up to their Russian overlords. The boys are traitors to liberal gays because they imagine the logistics of a Putin/Trump homosexual relationship. This week the boys have a guest! Comedian Zach Noe Towers is back on the show to promote a stand-up special he is starring in called Out on Stage. And you can see it July 24 at 8pm at theater’s nationwide! Casey is also in the movie and Tony promises not to see it. Tony wants the world to watch Pose, Casey wonders how the weather effects racism and Zach talks about his movie (and a gross sex act)!

This week Tony and Casey discuss the power of incivility and how to properly address Trump officials to their fucking faces. Tony has found unexpected solace in the Real Housewives of New York and Casey just wants to call people names and throw glasses of white wine in faces.

The boys do a late night podcast and Tony got wine drunk so Casey caught up. In one month of therapy, Tony learned that he rolls his eyes too much. Casey could have diagnosed that for free. Casey tells a creepy story (about himself) and Tony has strong opinions on The Connors and RuPaul.

This week the boys remember their LA pride weekend and its lasting effects on Casey. Tony tells us why gay people shouldn't spend their money on The World Cup and Donald Trump is chumming around with dictators. All that and the best theme song podcasting.
