This week I asked a young man, Sam. who covers the Dodgers, on his fan-based website, to come on the program so we Padres fans could get a heads up about Dodgerland. This is scouting in a way. I met Quincy a few month and there is a funny story about how we met. He is a great guest who knows his Padres baseball and seems to be a real down to Earth guy. I have some good news about former Padre Josh Naylor and I ponder whether a robot should replace incompetent umpires behind the plate.

They are known as the "Princes of Petco Park" and they are at most Padres games. I decided to spend a half hour talking to them and what a joy it was. He's handsome. He is a former soccer player and now he is a baseball  enthusiast loyal to the San Diego Padres. He, with friends, have started their own non-sports podcast and he is fascinating and well-spoken young man.
