26 years in a row he finished in the top five in the world standings, and four times he ended the year as the World Champion heeler From his life of coaching and innovation to the battles he faced in the years following a traumatic stroke to his life now as he sets up his sunset years in Arizona. Alan is truly the definition of a legend. 

One of the best headers to ever come out of Canada, and for sure one of the more mentally analytical people we’ve ever sat down with on the podcast. Truly an episode that I enjoyed getting to be a part of, and learn from. 

The superstar television producer from the Cowboy Channel, and probably the leading candidate for most fascinating women in the Western industry. We’ve tried a few times to get this podcast lined up and finally succeeded, let me just say well worth the wait!

By far one of the most fascinating tours we have ever had since the podcast started with Justin Thomason, the plant manager for Resistol. We got to see the hats being built from start to finish and hear Justin’s story of how he came to Resistol. It was like a dual podcast of his life and the culture of a company we all know. It was a great day hanging out with a super cool guy. Don’t miss it 

Dan and Kalina are the definition of “insider baseball” for our industry. Ranchers, horse trainers, part-time duck herders, just an overall amazing podcast that at times went deeper and more personal than I think any of us expected 

One of my favorite people on Planet Earth…one of the smartest ranchers. He and his wife Mary are great horsemen and the kindest people I know. I truly love him, and I’m so excited to introduce him to you guys. 

From growing up in a ranching family in California to a full-blown career with the PBR, the Indianapolis 500, and now with Teton Ridge and his role as the General Manager of the Arizona Ridge Riders PBR team. Casey is for sure a finalist for the most interesting man to ever wear a cowboy hat!

A guy whose life sounds more like a mad lib than reality, his father was Tommy Lucia (the mastermind behind Whiplash the monkey who rode a dog), and going on to become the 2023 PRCA Announcer of the Year. But more than any of that, truly just a very special human being. It's one of my personal favorites that we’ve ever recorded. 

When old rodeo buddies swing by they make for some of the best episodes, from rancher, team roper, and fence builder Rob comes from an old-school rodeo family. Great time hanging out with him 

One of my top five votes for most interesting man alive, from his upbringing in the neighborhood where they filmed the Sopranos, to a life of building business and being an absolute WIZARD with taxes and accounting you owe it to yourself to listen to this episode. ESPECIALLY if you have ever had tax questions related to our sport 

You have to love it when the Western world produces businesses in other fields, in this case, it’s Mikey Fletcher and Brody Self who have created “Daily Dog Fights” an award-winning golfing app that’s set to change the ways friends play golf. From the junior ropings in Johnson County Texas, to nights in Las Vegas with Anna Nicole Smith on E! there was a ton of fun had. Also, by far the best bonus...

One of the most fascinating entrepreneurs in the history of the Western industry. The man who brought us Martin Saddlery, and also possibly the #1 customer in Wickenburg’s golfing community, we had a great time hearing the whole story. Huge shoutout to Trey Norris for helping get it lined up. 

One of my favorite things about Wickenburg is the community and the people who share experiences. We had some rain and so I decided to grab some buddies who are all in the same business. Just a really fun hang and a really educational look into the lives of people who are making a living in the team roping and horse training business. 

One of the most famous calf horses trainers that’s ever lived, and owner of Sod one of the most famous calf roping horses in history. Great time getting to hear all the re-ride stories and behind-the-scenes look into some of the horses we all grew up watching 

Part 1: From the people who introduced “Frenchman’s Guy” to the world, we had a chance to sit down and visit with Bill about the journey that led him and his wife Deb to one of the most famous stallions in the history of Barrel racing.

If you listen to one podcast this year,  MAKE IT THIS ONE.  From the guy who wrote songs like “Brand New Girlfriend” and “Chillin' It” just to name a couple of many.  This recording was truly an awesome experience to sit in the room and hear some of the most unbelievable stories we’ve ever heard since this podcast launch. We caught up with Eli Vastbinder, a PBR veteran and a great guy on top of it while we were in NYC for the PBR at Madison Square Garden. Rodeo family and background, and a really fun podcast 

The man behind the wheel of the PBR is now throwing his hat in the rodeo ring alongside Kid Rock with the creation of the “Rock ‘N Roll Rodeo” this May 17th in Arlington Texas. We had a chance to sit down and get to know him and his story and hear his vision for this rodeo and the future it could hold for our entire industry.  

Hands down one of the most recognizable names, voices, and careers in the history of the PRCA. Here’s the coolest part, we spent a majority of the podcast getting to know the story of Joe Beaver BEFORE he was Joe Beaver. Just trying to make a name and a living amateur rodeoing in South Texas. 

The man behind TM bits and spurs, he’s had his bits on multiple horses at the NFR over the years and has made horses that went as well. But more importantly, he’s a great guy and a really fun hang.
