What's in your EDC, or "Every Day Carry?" We all have tools or gear that we use on a daily basis. Empty a woman's purse and you might find just about anything. However, a man's pockets are often the same. In this challenge to dads, we examine what the Apostle Paul says we should carry every single day, the full armor of God. (6-18-23)

Our God, is a breakthrough God! Jesus broke through time and space to live and walk among us. He broke through and obliterated sin and death. He broke through all obstacles that separate man from God. We see so many places in scripture where people had breakthrough moments with God. We all want to win the game. We live in a society where everyone is going 'round and 'round the board at a breakneck pace! However, when the game is over, it all goes back in the box. How are we playing the game? Are we focusing on the things that truly matter?

Just imagine it......A preacher delivers a message to a sold out venue of 120,000 people. The majority of the people hear his message and repent. The preacher then walks off into the sunset with the theme from The Mandalorian playing in the background. Is this what happens in Jonah chapter 4? Have you ever need a second chance? Sure you have, because we all need a second chance sometimes. The God of the Bible is the God of second chances. We find that Jonah gets a second chance to obey, and Nineveh gets a second chance to repent. Here, we find ourselves reminded that our merciful and gracious God often gives us a second chance if we repent and seek Him.  3-12-23
