The Fired up Caregiver

A long-term care eviction from a nursing home in Canada. One family's fight for justice.

Nursing home care needs to change. More people are going to die if the people in charge aren't held accountable.

This is my first interview with a caregiver.

The gloves are off in this episode, I dive into the problem of this virus that is killing our loved-ones.  Inform you of the knowledge that I have gained from being a caregiver. We need to rise up, to take action now to protect our loved-one. Standing together shows a strong force. 

Had proper protocols been in place this virus could have been better contained. Instead our loved ones have to worry, we have to worry if they may get the coronavirus. We are not allowed to see them. Some facilities are offering remote video calling, but this isn't the same. We have so many questions that we are not getting answers to. I will keep trying to get answers for us all.

This episode I go into details about a book that I wrote last year. I wrote this book, to help a caregiver find the answers they maybe seeking. Resources are very important for a caregiver.
