Cale looks at 1 Corinthians 1:10-17.  St. Paul hears that there are factions and personality cults growing in the Christian community in Corinth. What was his response? Cale looks at 1 Corinthians 1:1-9. The opening lines contain some deep insights that set the tone for the rest of the letter. Cale looks at the themes of grace,  apocalypse, fellowship that emerge in the “thanksgiving” section of the letter.

Cale looks at Genesis 49 and the last words of Jacob before he dies. Did you know that the Letter to the Hebrews mentions Jacob’s blessing of Joseph’s sons? Why this event of all the ones recorded? Jacob’s words to all the sons of Joseph are prophetic. Cale also shares a lighthearted poem on heaven.

Cale looks at Genesis 48 and considers the spiritual gifts God gives us. Does Jacob know what he’s doing when he place his right hand over Ephraim? Cale also shares a story of St. Josemaria Escriva and the fatherhood of God.
