A solar flare two weeks ago is hitting the earth right now.  The sun seems brighter and hotter, especially over the northern hemisphere right now, because it is.  Solar radiation can radically and suddenly change the global climate but no one is talking about it because there is no political angle.  Even the "climate change" people aren't talking about it. #climatechange #solarflares 

The best way to get better stuff at the baby shower is don't tell people the gender of the baby!  That way you're more likely to get useful items rather than all blue or pink blankets!

A southern cafe in North Carolina is probably a barbeque place.  There is a different vibe, a different feel, in a local Southern Cafe that you can't get in a chain restaurant.

My son and daughter in law were able to escape from the devastation left by hurricane Helene.  Four days without power, cell service, or internet connection.  For two days we couldn't communicate with them at all and had no idea if they were okay or not!  Asheville NC is still devastated.

The Red Wave never happened. The Democrats were just as surprised by it as the Republicans were.  Here is my take on where the Republicans went wrong. 

From this week's Sunday morning political shows the Democrat buzz words for this week will be "dereliction of duty" and "failed coup" as related to the January 6th committee hearings, and continual denial of the downward spiral of the US economy under Joe Biden.  Al Gore also made the rounds this week pushing for the elimination of fossil fuels.

Gas prices are intentionally high.  It's not Covid, nor the war in Ukraine, it's the "green energy initiatives" to reduce fossil fuels.  Biden reinstalled the Obama bureaucrats and climate change fanatics that caused the 2008 recession and they're making the same bad economic decisions they made back then.  The high cost of fuel is driving inflation and causing the same type of economic chaos that...

Planting with a purpose.  I planted a tree over twenty years ago to shade my living room from the morning sun.  I was intentional about what I planted and where I planted it.  We all plant seeds, intentional or not, and they are going to grow.  Shouldn't we be intentional?

The Canadians opened their border to US citizens, but we didn't open ours to Canadians.  Why not?  Why couldn't we close the border with Mexico?  Tell me again how our Covid response isn't political.
