The Do Dads

It's been a long time since Dave and Jason have got around the mics. In this episode they do their best to get back in to the swing of things and catch you all up on what they've been up to, what they've been watching and tell a few jokes along the way.

The Do Dads are back for another year of trying to do more than talk while talking about doing. Confused? Maybe go back to the first episode and have a listen. It's 2025 and Dave and Jason are discussing what they were up to in the back end of the year that was 2024 and also looking forward to the future and the plans ahead.

It's been some time again since the last episode but the boys are here to deliver you some jokes, catch you up on their lives and take a trip down memory lane.

Ok so the boys didn't manage to get one a month out this year. They are very sorry but they are back and they are out visiting an iconic monument of the North East of England.

It's another episode of phoning it in. Dave and Jason have been super busy and also passing ships so they've had to resort to a phone podcast again. They announce the winner of the giveaway, chat about what they've been up to and give their latest viewing recommendations. As always there is some jokes in there somewhere as well.

Dave and Jason discuss the latest personal news, the current royals situation on social media and some recommendations for watching and listening. Jason gets in some help for his joke telling and discusses what he's given up for lent. The competition is still running so get your Dad jokes in before the 31st March.

The Do Dads were almost Don't Dads thanks to an eventful February. Thankfully Jason came up with a last minute way to record the 29th episode on the 29th of Feb. Jason and Dave head out with a few of their friends on another adventure in the North East of England. A new friend Shep joins them who is a local to Seaham and shares some of his knowledge of the area. The lads finish it off with a quick dip in the North Sea and a little bite to eat at the lovely The Lookout at Seaham marina. #notsponsored.

The Do Dads go on another adventure with their walking buddies Alun and Miz. This time from the lovely Northumbrian Coastal town of Warkworth to Alnmouth and back again. Along the way they discuss recent events, tracking your kids and much much more. Apologies for the heavy breathing we are both quite out of shape.

This episode Dave and Jason try out podcasting in a car. It was cramped and it got a little steamy. People passed on by but no one was phased by two dads talking into microphones in a random parking lot in Newcastle.  The Do Dads responded to some listener suggestions and discussed recent happenings.

The Do Dads went out for a leisurely stroll to Sycamore Gap. At least that was the intention. They were not completely prepared fro the challenge that lay ahead of them but at least they had their friends Miz and Alun with them for the ride.

In this long awaited episode Dave and Jason catch us up on what's been happening in the long gap between episodes.  They discuss Ted Lasso, Moon Knight and Turning Red amongst other film and TV offerings.  Dave tastes some of the finest junk food that Australia has to offer suffering for the cause by temporarily breaking his diet. 

Dave and Jason are back for another year!!! It's 2022 everybody. In this episode they close out the year that was 2021 and go through their hopes for the future. There is talk of movies, isolation, AI and even a few pronounciations. Yes, the popular segment is back. 

Dave and Jason are back with a vengeance. Covering such important topics as Christmas Lists, Cats vs Dogs and the latest streaming content they've been watching. Dave and Jason are back for another episode. This is the first episode with their new mics supplied from Rode in honour of their Award Winning podcast. But enough about that, Halloween is fast approaching and then it's not long til Christmas. What's been on the Do Dads radar? YOu'll just have to listen to find out.

This episode is a little different from their previous episodes because Dave and Jason were able to meet in person and record out in the wild. The usual rambling discussion covering what they've been up to and what they've been watching, some recommendations and some deep insights. Also a wonderful debate on how to have a cream tea with scones.

This episode's recording was a bit of a rollercoaster for Dave and Jason.
