The Devil Made Me View It: A Horror Podcast

We just couldn't get enough of folk horror after our Wicker Man discussion, so we brought Andrew back to explore the this dark little corner of the genre. We talk everything from the Unholy Trilogy to Children of the Corn sequels. It's a fun talk that left us all realizing that we'd barely scratched the surface.

We invited an old friend who just so happens to have been our film school instructor on to talk up some horror and he didn't let us down. He smacked down the 1973 classic THE WICKER MAN onto the slab for us to dissect and that's exactly what we did. We do mention the Nic Cage remake a little, but that's a discussion for another day.

Talking up Frankenstein and The Bride of Frankenstein just wasn't enough. This week Jesse crosses off some films of his To Watch list and we discuss just what it is that makes monsters special, and why we need them more than we really know. From James Wales The Invisible Man to the modern day Kong and Godzilla flicks, we can learn from all of them.
