The Deep End

What makes a truly good friend? How is it that some friends come and go? Is friendship one of the ways we manage the “semi-permeability” of our consciousness? We delight in our friendships as we look at friendship itself.

A Question is fuel that drives consciousness. It is an impetus for human life. What was the “first” question? How do the questions you ask yourself shape your life?

America was born of the idea of self rule. John Locke and John Stuart Mill represent the thinking of two root ideas that are in deep interactive play and easily discernible in the events of our time, from COVID to Global Climate Change and even Billionaire Astronauts. Can the individual right and the community rights we call America dance together or are we destined to forever demonize the Other?

As we develop as human beings through childhood up to adulthood… and our views don’t stop there.

The deep end is a place that many do not want to go. It can be unsettling and at times, downright anxiety inducing. Yet, some of us are compelled to keep asking the questions and tugging on those threads that circle right back to the mystery of bing, life and consciousness.

Is WAR part of human nature? Can we change our very nature? If we don’t will we kill ourselves? What is the answer?

What is a “worldview”? How is our worldview changing? What are the consequences of our worldview? Is it spiritual?

Repentance, atonement, Prayascitta? We are called to look at those places where we get it wrong and there... become something new.

Like the flowers and the galaxies we are unfolding. What does that mean? Can we unfold without enfolding? What is this process and how can we more fully participate in it.

What is this self-awareness we call “consciousness? What is it doing?

When we learn that we are each a place, a cosmic address where the Universe woke up and looks out, into and through itself we see who we really are...
