In this special bonus episode, the boys dig into "Dark Nights Death Metal: The Last Stories of the DC Universe," "Dark Nights Death Metal" #6, and "Dark Nights Death Metal: The Secret Origin." Multiversity Manga Club co-host and longtime friend of the pod Walter Richardson joins the boys for a discussion of Jim Starlin's "Death of the New Gods." The story, which somewhat touches on the events of both "Countdown" and "Final Crisis," while fitting in with neither, is a spiritual sequel to "Cosmic Odyssey," so there's plenty of "Odyssey" talk, too.

With news of a number of March and April series spinning out of 'Future State,' the boys spend the first half of the show discussing these new series and attempting to read the tea leaves for what this means for the rest of DC's line.
