Better Tabernacle Promises (Hebrews 8:1-13). The priest’s role is to usher us into the presence of the Holy. Rather than some human mock-up, Christ brings you into the Holy of Holies where your sin is forgotten and you know the Lord. Are you ready for the promise to be made new?

Another Better Priest (Hebrews 7:18-28). So many priests of this world just burden you with one form of the Law or another. Christ is the priest who administers a better hope for you. Do you follow the priest who sacrifices for our sins himself once for all?

Out Of Order Priest (Hebrews 7:1-17). Hebrews talks about how Christ is a priest in the order of Melchizedek. This priesthood represents God’s righteousness and safeguard God’s shalom. Do you rely on Christ’s priesthood for an indestructible life?

Good As His Word (Hebrews 6:13-20). When God makes a promise he also gives an oath to guarantee. His Word doesn’t change or lie. We have a secure and firm hope in Christ our eternal heavenly priest. Will we flee sin to take hold of the hope set before us?

Brought Back Repentance (Hebrews 6:1-12). How can you truly taste the goodness of God and spit it out? Why is it impossible for those who were once enlightened to be brought back? Are we producing fruit of the Gospel or only thorns and thistles?

Suffering Perfected Obedience (Hebrews 5:7-14). Being fully human enhances the magnificence of Christ. That Christ walked through the human weakness yet stayed faithful all the way to the cross is the heroic story. Hold Fast High Priest (Hebrews 4:14-5:6). You have received a mediator who actually goes to the mat for you. Not some flunky spouting words. Christ knows you and your weakness. Christ represents you. Believe In Real Rest (Hebrews 4:1-13). What gives real rest, even in the midst of turmoil? We fail to obtain this promised rest from God when we doubt his word and disobey God. The Word of God cuts through the crap in our lives to get to the point of the matter.

Encourage Believers Daily (Hebrews 3:12-19). Sin-filled, unbelieving hearts turn us away from the living God. Each of us is called to share Christ and encourage one another daily. Hear his voice, trust his Word and enter His rest.

God’s House Builder Son (Hebrews 3:1-11). Fix your mind on Christ alone. Moses and all other servants of the Law cannot get you into God’s rest. The greatly honored Christ the Son is the builder and master over God’s house. Cling firmly to your confidence in Christ.

Necessary Humanity Sharing (Hebrews 2:11-18).  Christ doesn’t come to redeem angels, but to help the children of the Promise. Truest Justice Joy (Psalm 97). The earth should rejoice that a holy and righteous ruler reigns. The Lord burns up sin and melts it away. You cannot love the Lord and also embrace the wickedness that rebels against God’s righteousness. The Lord delivers us from our own wickedness!

Endow The Royal Son (Psalm 72). While a prayer of David for Solomon, ultimately the endowments will only apply to the Messiah. How does the righteous one judge the ungodly with righteousness? How does living with this messiah prosper his people?

East West Treatment (Psalm 103). Consider the abundance of God’s work forgiving, healing, redeeming, crowning and blessing you. God knows you are a dust mite and has compassion on us. Do we remember who we are?

Almighty Covenant Fortress (Psalm 46). The LORD is your inner strength and outer fortress. Even though the earth fall down, we will not fear. Our God is actively destroying the weapons of our enemy. Is the Lord of hosts your refuge?

Thunder Word Blessing (Psalm 29). If angels are called to give honor to the LORD, are you called to ascribe glory to God? Glory is His anyway. Wicked Confusing Confounder (Psalm 55). We feel ignored and abandoned in our anguish and terror. Our thoughts terrorize us. But our unchanging LORD will not let you be shaken.

Profitable Productive Baptism (Titus 3:8-15). The Church is to stress the truth of our salvation in the ears of believers. We warn those who continue to define themselves by corruption and sin. As baptized people we are called to excel in doing good.

We Become Heirs (Titus 3:1-8). The task of the Church is to remind Christians how to be Christians in a broken world. We once lived broken lives, but now we are saved through Christ! By the washing of rebirth God makes us heirs of eternal life. Do you live in the riches of God’s grace?

Freeing Glory Manifested (Titus 2:11-15) Sound teaching and sound living in God’s unmerited grace flowing out of Christ and his cross. You have been freed from the dead, ungodly rebellion of false doctrine.
