Lonely Place Praying (Mark 1:29-45). Just like Peter’s mother had a fever, what is burning you up? Christ is willing to take on the brokenness for you. Do you believe Christ is willing to touch your life, cleanse your life and heal you? Will you witness openly about your encounter with the Good News?

Demon Destroying Preaching (Mark 1:14-28). Jesus said Kairos time is full, turn away from sin and trust the promises of God. The fisher men are the first to turn away from an old life to follow. Then in Sabbath worship Christ encounters a demon possessed attender. While people are pondering, the demonic knows the demon destroyer.

Heaven Ripped Start (Mark 1:1-13). The start of the Good News is nothing less than the Son of God has come. John the Baptizer preaches a word that does something. Are you going to confess your sins? Recognize you cannot have faith without being under assault from the devil.

True Speaking Mouth (Proverbs 8:1–21). The Lord’s mouth makes truth by what it speaks. God’s Word makes just and declares who is righteous. Rather than toiling with the false gods of wealth, chose the Word that is beyond comparison. To dwell in God’s wisdom is to overcome the arrogance, perversity and evil of this world.

Victimizing Whoring Idolatry (Proverbs 7:1-27). The idolatry of this world perfumes itself and covers itself with alure. Idolatry chases after you like a horny suitor. Don’t be deceived because it is going in for the kill to ensnare and slaughter you. Do we enslave ourselves to the debts of others? While we are called to help others, we cannot take responsibility for them. Our created response is be fruitful in this life. What moves in our lives? Claim Inherited Wisdom (Proverbs 4:1–27). Youth are warned not to throw away the life giving Wisdom passed down. The Wisdom of God does not hamper our course, but guides us away from stumbling. Wisdom keeps our mortal body from being a platform for perversity.

Loving Snot Out (Proverbs 3:11–20). Being rebuked for wayward rebellion is the discipline of a loving LORD. The greatest blessing you can have that will give long life is the LORD’s wisdom. Imitating Apostate Ancestors (Psalm 95) What other Rock is there for you to stand on? The LORD makes you righteous. Do you take God for granted? Try living out of your strength? Messiah Right Hand Sitting (Psalm 110). Jesus claimed this Psalm as a reference to himself as the Messiah Priest. Rebellious powers and rulers of this world are crushed by the Gospel of God’s sovereignty. For eternal life flows out of Messiah. (cf. Heb 1:13, Heb 8:17-28)

Garbage Dump Savior (Hebrews 13:11-25). The refuse sacrifice, Jesus, was crucified outside the walls. We are called to go outside the walls too in places where don’t expect to find God. Cast Aside Hobbling Sin (Hebrews 12:1-13). Struggling against sin is necessary to a harvest of new life. Christ is the pathfinder who completes your faith. God rebukes, disciplines and chastens you so we submit to God’s holiness. Will you submit to being pruned from sin?

World Unworthy Believers (Hebrews 11:32-12:2). By faith people of God were heroes whose weakness gave way to God’s strength. Even in their suffering they conquered the unbelieving world. Will you trust God has promised better to make you complete?

Disobedient Promise Faithfulness (Hebrews 11:23-31). By the power of faith Moses dumped the royal splendor to embrace disgrace and mistreatment of God’s people. He chose the cross to reject the structure and power. Will you disobey this world’s Law for the promise?

Another Country Strangers (Hebrews 11:13-22). The heroes of the faith trusted God in extreme circumstances. They longed for a heavenly homeland. They acted in faith even when it was counter to what they expected. Are you satisfied with this earthly home?

God Pleasing Faith (Hebrews 11:1-12). What do you have faith in? Those who trusted God even in the midst of challenges pleased God. Do you want to please God? Simply come to him, seek him, believe in the living God and trust him with your life.

Not Another Cross (Hebrews 10:26-39). We are warned against dumping the grace of Christ because there’s not going to be another cross. Deliberate rebellion and willful disobedience that rejects repentance will be consumed by judgment. The righteous however live by faith.

Lawless Heart Tattoo (Hebrews 10:11-25). What contemporary priests of self-righteous demand you give some work or sacrifice to prove your worth? By one sacrifice in Christ you are made holy. God writes this promise on your heart, so draw near to God with assurance.

No Repeated Effort (Hebrews 10:1-10). The religious righteous self efforts can never make perfect. IF these endless efforts worked people would be freed from guilt and made new. Christ makes you holy in one fell swoop. He fiercely takes you to the cross. Will you once for all take Christ?

Blood Powered Promise (Hebrews 9:15-28). The Law requires that everything be cleansed by the cost of life because sin only deals death. Christ entered into the essential, true sanctuary paying the cost to bring forgiveness with the sacrifice of himself. Are you waiting for his salvation?

More Than Furniture (Hebrews 9:1-14). The whole purpose of the tabernacle was to enter into the presence of the Most Holy. But the entrance fee to the earthly tabernacle was never permanent and eternal. Christ has given his own sacrifice so we may worship the living God.
