Over the next few days I will be sharing about my most recent trip and what I experienced and learned.

Sometimes we will encounter people who have no faith, or worse, people who are anti-faith.  How did Jesus respond, and what instruction does He provide to us in similar situations?  How do we respond to anti-faith?

Jesus' presence prompted faith on the part of the Roman official regarding his son.  Faith prompted many others in the Scriptures to take action.  How is our faith today?  How are you trusting God today?

A dire circumstance and a humble faith result in an incredible outcome.

Jesus modeled even going to those who are far different from us.  He modeled how doing Father's will is like sustenance.  He point to the ripe harvest.

There may be many things we point that we say bring us real joy, but the questions are what brings true lasting joy and how can we continue to live in that joy?

Just what did Jesus say to such a distinguished leader as Nicodemus?  What can we learn from this encounter about evangelism and apologetics?  What core truths did Jesus articulate?

Jesus met people where they were. From the life of Jesus we can gain great insights into evangelism an disciplemaking. 

Jesus' first miracle reveals many things about Jesus to His followers.  They met His family (humanity) and they saw His first miracle (deity).  Jesus shows Himself to be who He has said that He is, and WE are today's messengers of that truth.

Jesus begins issuing challenges to people. To the curious non-believer He gives one challenge, but once they have believed, He gives a different challenge.  Let's learn together. 

Not only IS Jesus the Word, but He also demonstrated a relationship with Scriptures that leaves us an example to follow as we seek to follow Him.

As Jesus embarked into His ministry and right after His baptism, we was led into the wilderness for 40 days. How did Jesus confront the temptations He faced?

When Jesus was about the enter His public ministry, he was baptized by John. Why was Jesus baptized?  What was revealed about Jesus at His baptism?

Jesus spent 30 years preparing to fulfill His mission.  As He chose His initial followers, He will spend about 1.5 years building and modeling foundations upon which ministry was/is to be built.

While there is little in the Gospels about Jesus when  between ages 12 and 30, there are some Old Testament passages that give us a few clues.  Jesus can relate with us even in the awkward years of adolescence and young adulthood. 

While little is said about Jesus' life from boyhood to adulthood, there is enough said to raise plenty of questions.

What key events happened in Jesus' formative years?  Think immigrant! What lessons do we learn?

More is said about Jesus in the Flesh. Today, we will look at even more passages that connect His humanity to ours. 

Today, we consider what it meant for God to come in flesh.  What did Jesus experience for the first time?  How does that make Him more able to relate with us?

We have laid the background for our study, and today we embark on that study, looking at Jesus' humanity from conception to circumcision. It is so very significant that Jesus took on flesh and became one of us. Let's learn.

Several key elements were laid in place prior to the launch of Jesus' public ministry. Today, we give consideration how Father uses our life experiences to prepare us for ministry.

As Jesus was coming onto the scene, one was sent ahead of Him (John).  Jesus has now been on the scene and will come again to the scene, and we are to run for Him, carrying His message until He comes.

In Jesus' life and ministry we can trace 5 phases.  Those 5 phases led to a 6th phase in the Book of Acts.  Those phases all provide tracks for us to run on.

Today, we will go a little deeper into the 5 phases of Jesus' ministry and the resulting 6th phase of movement development.
