God is with His people.  He is near.  He is as close as the mention of His name.  What an incredible truth!

There is our experienced truth, then there is God's truth.  You and I are called to live in God's truth, for God's truth about us is the real truth.  Today, we consider some other phenomenal truths from John 10, Romans 5, and Hebrews 4. 

When we begin to make application of God's truth in our lives, there are at least 100 Truth Statements we can make about our identity in Christ.  Today, we cover just a handful of them...born again, a child of God, a saint, salt and light.

New followers of Christ need to learn who they are meant to be through new life in Christ.  Today we finish out Ephesians 1 and head into Ephesians 2 as we continue to consider these incredibly great truths.

Today we discuss the lavish nature of God's Grace that allow our identity to be one of "I am Redeemed" and "I have the deposit of the Holy Spirit and He will never leave me."  Great truths from Ephesians 1 to claim as your identity in Christ. 

We can be controlled by the identity our life before Christ, or we can be controlled by God's truth for us about our new identity in Christ.  When we begin to contemplate God's truth about who we are in Christ, we can live like the New Creation He has meant us to be.

There are rules for interpreting the Bible.  There is a right way and a wrong way. We want to help young disciples learn how to appropriately study the Bible so they interpret it correctly.

The Bible is THE most reliable book of all books ever written.  We want young believers to have confidence in God's Word.  We, ourselves, need to have confidence in God's Word.

We have the same request of Jesus as the disciples, "Lord, teach us to pray." This is day 2 of a conversation about prayer.

What is a disciple?  What is disciplemaking?  What are the critical things a new disciple needs to know in their HEAD, believe in the HEART, and be able to do with the HANDS (skills) to thrive as a follower of Christ who will also be able to make other disciples?  Prayer and Praising is a part of the formula. 

If you lead a person to Christ, there are key truths they need to know and key practices they need to implement.  As a disciplemaker, you need to help that new Jesus follower learn these things. Today, we talk about God's worthiness of being worshiped. 

While I intended this broadcast to be about prayer, it took a different turn and we talked about care for our bodies and souls in consideration of 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.

Every believer has at least 3 wonderful provisions from God - The Savior, Scriptures, the Holy Spirit.  Be assured. Be empowered. 

In both New and Old Testaments, God promises His presence with His people.  Take heart, Christian, God is with you!

God promises to forgive and cleanse.  We have our humble part in repentance and confession, but He then does His wonderful work of forgiving and cleansing.

How is salvation gained?  Through Faith (given by God) in response to the Grace extended by God.  If we know we have truly believed and received (embraced) the Son, then we can know we have eternal life.  1 John 5:11-13. 

Today we discuss God's power and knowledge and wisdom.

If we are going to help new young believers to grow, there is a body of key knowledge they need to possess in their heads and hearts, and key practices they need to learn to apply.  Today, we consider helping a young Christian with Bible study, but more importantly, for us and them to get to know the Character of God, particularly His compassion.  

Luke writes in such a way to convince his readers of the authenticity of Christ's resurrection.  If he is raised, then we need to surrender and obey and be the sequel of His message to the world.

What happened after Easter?  Jesus gave many convincing proofs that He is alive.  He also set a disciplemaking example for us as He opened the Scriptures "along the way."

Today, we contemplate from the Book of Luke the events of Crucifixion Friday and pause in reflection and remembrance. 

On the Thursday prior to His crucifixion, Jesus will spend most of the day with His disciples.  He will institute the Lord's supper as a new meaning of the Passover. He will give His great upper room teaching (Upper Room Discourse - see John 13-17), and will ultimately be betrayed into the hands of those who will crucify Him.  What lessons do we learn? How can we draw near to Jesus as we contempla...

Jesus taught in the Temple area all day Tuesday, and it was on Wednesday that Judas would agree to betray Jesus.  What lessons do we learn?

Luke and the other synoptic Gospels capture Jesus' Holy Fury at the money changers.  Today's events take place Monday before Good Friday. What can we learn?

Today, we will look at Jesus' journey back to Bethany, then over the Mount of Olives to Jerusalem.  What was on his heart?  What was in his mind? How does this instruct and impact us?
