As we begin our journey through Job, we see the characters in this story introduced as well as the tension as Satan questions the motivation of Job, and all of God's people - Do we Serve the Lord for nothing? Or for His protection and blessing? By God's grace, we are on a journey to more and more be able to say Yes!

Song of Songs warns us to not awaken love until the appropriate time. When a man and woman are married, they finally get to enjoy this gift. We are also warned of foxes attempting to ruin the vineyard. What are we doing to protect our marriages from them?

A song of wisdom. A song of love. This overview of the greatest song of all time gives us guidance and insight into the often neglected sexuality of humanity according to God.

For our last week in Ecclesiastes we look at the hope we have in every season of life, including through Gods judgement.

Considering the bleakness of our approaching death and the frustrations of life on earth, how should we then live? See and savor and enjoy God's grace in everyday gifts of food, drink, family, work, and life. Not a suggestion by God, but commanded by God and possible because God enables what He commands His people to do.

When confronted with the futility of life and the inevitability of death, how do we then live with wisdom? When even wisdom is limited. What truths about God emerge even as someone is being raw and honest about the difficulty of life under the sun? This Sunday we walk through an overview of the book of Ecclesiastes.

God has a design for mankind, and that includes womanhood. Proverbs offers much on the practical things of life. How a woman lives in the day-to-day is the focus for this sermon, but, as always, it must come back to Jesus.

Work is an often overlooked topic in the local church. What does God intend for our work? How does His wisdom and the gospel help us overcome the broken and insufficient views of work in our culture? How can the work He has done for us in Jesus help us work better?

Without wisdom we are fools, but more dangerous are those who think they are wise apart from Christ. We consider what Proverbs says about the unwise as we look to Christ who is the imbodiment of Wisdom.

God has created us for life in Him. Our best life is knowing this and living this out. This is also called the wise life. What then is wisdom? And how do we get it so that we can experience our best life?

Regardless of religious affiliation many would consider Jesus to be one of the greatest men to ever live. His teaching and his following is certainly remarkable with any honest objective observation. However, being a good man wasn’t enough to save sinner. He must be God. In his resurrection he demonstrates he alone is worthy of our worship. Look to him and know he is God. Happy Easter!

The Scriptures clearly reveal that Jesus was truly human. Why does that matter? Many reasons, but this morning we focus on two. For our justification - Jesus had to be a man to provide access to God we don't deserve. For our sanctification - Jesus had to be a man to provide power to live a life for God's good pleasure. Join us in Philippians 2:1-13 as we see these realities.

For our final question, we examine the reality of the pagan roots of Christian holidays and other things we celebrate and work to understand how we agree to disagree with other believers while celebrating Christ in all of life and engage our culture with the gospel.

Continuing our series we consider the question: Why do some denominations obey some biblical laws and traditions, about how to dress and eat, while others don't?

Seeking to understand Scripture and how it answers the questions of life goes beyond theological information. God speaks to all of life. Marriage is his creation and it points us to his goodness and grace. Let us consider what it means to be married before God.

Often there seems to be opposition between science and faith, but upon better consideration we find they overlap. In deed, they support one another. Listen in as we answer this week's proposed question of how Christianity and Science are not mutually exclusive.

There is much to say concerning racism, but it is imperative we center the discussion around gospel truth. In this way we can see how God created us, ways we're broken by sin, and how we have been redeemed. Then we move to action as the people of God on the mission of God. We have hope knowing Christ restores all things.

Question #4 in our series - If God is sovereign, how much freedom do we have as humans? How do we live with the tension of God's Sovereignty and our responsibility to make real choices? How do we not fall into passivity or paralysis but live with prayerful hope?

Does the Bible clearly teach that faith in Jesus alone is how we enter Heaven and avoid God's wrath? Is Christianity alone exclusive? What is so special and significant about Jesus?

The world is full of suffering and evil as a result of sin. God knows all things. Why then did he create us, knowing we'd sin, and knowing he'd have to die to save us?

How can we trust the Bible is God's Word and not just a book written by men? How were the Scriptures written? How were they compiled? Why some books and not others? Who made those decisions? If we don't have the originals, can we trust it's been copied accurately? What level of confidence that the Bibles we read today is what God has intended for us to have to know and love Him?

To begin a series built around questions we've gotten from friends who have questions, we start with answering the question - why even go to the Bible at all for answers? And when we do, how do we understand and apply what we find to all of life?
