On today’s episode, we discuss a movie based off of one of the most popular video game franchises of the 90s.  A movie with a script that was so disposable that it was rewritten or thrown away daily on set and many of us still aren’t sure what the plot is.  JCVD did everything he could to tank the movie, while Raul Julia is quite possibly the only saving grace, despite being his last role prior to...

We are bringing back the "I've Never Seen" segment from the old days. One of us absolutely loves 2004's 'I Heart Huckabees' and the other two have never even heard of it. A self-described "existential comedy", I Heart Huckabees has an insane cast including Dustin Hoffman, Lily Tomlin, Jude Law, Jason Schwartxman, Mark Wahlberg, Naomi Watts and so many more. Make you Cry July starts off with an absolute bang. This movie was Stephen King's first and only attempt at directing a movie and the critics didn't like it. Stephen himself hated it. But here we are almost 40 years later, dissecting one of the best bad movies ever made. It caused an irrational fear of soda machines, lawn mowers, drawbridges, trucks and drain pipes. Join us as we chat about 1986's...

Today’s new episode is a full-blown review of the first movie ever to cost more than $100 million to make.  This movie taught us some important lessons like kids are 10 seconds of joy and 30 years of misery, that women can’t be lived with nor killed and that a vet will get em wet.   We are of course talking about 1994’s True Lies •0:00:00 - Introductions •0:03:30 - Memories of first viewing •0:07:...

On today’s episode, we’re diving into a cult classic that redefined what it means to be weird, hilarious, and just downright absurd.  A movie showing the world that Weird Al Yankovic should be protected at all costs.  This movie showed us the greatest hotdog/twinkie combination of all time and taught us that broads don’t belong in braodcasting, that gun control is for wimps and commies, and that l...

Almost 2 months ago, we released a brunch episode recapping the first 2 episodes of Season 2 of HBO’s The Last of Us.  It was a trial of sorts, as we may dip our toes in TV series reviews in the future.  Well, the problem with doing that episode was that we all obviously kept watching and badly wanted to recap the entire season with each other. HEAVY SPOILERS if you haven’t see all of Season 2.  ...
