A River Runs Through It 01.01.2023

As we turn our attention to 2023, we look to Ezekiel 47:1-12 to help us reorientate ourselves to what really matters — What's the chief end of man? Answer: To glorify God and enjoy Him forever.

Satisfied 18.12.2022

God provided us with the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world. Christmas celebrates that God drew near to us to do what we cannot do for ourselves: He provided salvation. From the blessing of the Abraham family line comes a baby in a manger, a baby who came to die. A baby who is the Son of God who came to be with us, who drew near to us. THIS IS WHAT CHRISTMAS IS ABOUT! This is what o...

Travelling Light Without Bitterness and Control 11.12.2022

In week 2 of "Travel Light", we look at letting go of bitterness and control. How do we deal with forgiveness and surrendering control? How do we travel light with less baggage and burden and surrender to the glorious ways of the Lord? NOTE: Due to technical issues, the first part of this message is unavailable.

Letting Go 04.12.2022

We begin our new Christmas series, "Travel Light." When the weight of the world is on your shoulders, it can feel like you’re going nowhere in a hurry. Shake off the burdens of stress, worry, and regret and find the freedom that comes when you Travel Light.

Wisdom for the Home 27.11.2022

There are four building blocks of parenting as we train our children in wisdom. The goal in parenting is for us to run to Jesus and His wisdom.

Awe 20.11.2022

John is brought into the very throne room of God, and while in awe, he tries to use words to help us enter into that experience. John is not just trying to recreate a picture; he wants us to experience an event.

Let Me In 13.11.2022

The final church is the church in Laodicea. Of these seven churches, none receives a more scathing condemnation than Laodicea. Here we see a picture of how Jesus feels about a church that is lukewarm in its passion for Him and says in verse 16: “So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.”

The Church with the Open Door 06.11.2022

This week we look at the sixth church of seven in Revelation: the church in Philadelphia. In this message, Jesus does not say, "but I have this against you." The church in Philadelphia had not lost its first love. It had remained loyal under pressure; it was not carelessly tolerant of ideas contrary to the Gospel; it boldly confessed Jesus in the marketplace.

Sound Asleep 30.10.2022

Looking at the church in Sardis from Revelation 3:1-6, we find a church that had found itself with a reputation of being alive, but was in fact dead. Like a surgeon, Jesus does open heart surgery on this church—giving them commands to help bring them to life. They grew content with a mediocre, halfway, comfortable, and convenient Christianity. Their faith was not radical; it was almost invisible.

The Church That Compromised 23.10.2022

This passage teaches us about the church in Thyatira, a church with a huge problem: there were those within the church who compromised their holiness. Rather than being in the world and not of the world, people thought they could compromise and have the best of both worlds.

You Want Wisdom? Get to Know Jesus 16.10.2022

We begin our new series called, "Fool's Gold" in the book of Proverbs. There is much wisdom in this book! In this message, we look at Proverbs 1:1-7 and find out where wisdom comes from.

God's People in Satan's City 09.10.2022

Today's sermon is from Pastor Sam Storms of Bridgeway Church in Oklahoma City.

Ephesus Lost Its First Love 25.09.2022

As we look at the first of seven lampstands, we find the church in Ephesus somehow neglected and lost the most important thing: Jesus and the Gospel. They lost their first love. Obedience out of love for Jesus was replaced by obedience out of duty. This is the difference between "Jesus accepts me and I gladly obey" and "I obey and Jesus accepts me."

Vision I: Who Jesus Is 18.09.2022

In this message, we study John's first vision and get a picture of the Son of Man, the glorious one, who nearly kills the Apostle John.

This We Must Know 11.09.2022

We begin our new teaching series in Revelation by laying some important foundational principles we must know as we navigate this complex and often confusing book.

Easy Does Not Mean Helpful 04.09.2022

As we get back into routine after the summer, we look at how the path of least resistance in our spiritual lives always leads to spiritual drift.

Idleness, Discipline and Cancers that are Destroying Churches 28.08.2022

Wow, Paul packs a punch in these final verses of his last letter to the Thessalonian Church. Paul addresses a cancer that needs to be cut out of this church, and he warns them in his first letter of people not working, but they did not listen. Church discipline is required. In this message, we learn of four final points that Paul wants to leave with this church.

I Just Want to Be Sure 21.08.2022

In this message, we look at the characteristics of genuinely converted believers: they are transformed by God's grace, guided by His Word, and are secure in His salvation and promises.

Emotional Damage 14.08.2022

In this week's passage, Apostle Paul teaches the importance of staying focused and grounded on God's truths rather than emotionally losing our minds when things appear like they're out of control in the world.

Jesus Will Make Everything Right 24.07.2022

What will happen on Judgment Day for those who are in Christ and those who are not? It’s a sobering passage as we see the joy for the Christ followers and pain for those who are not in Him.

Way to Go 17.07.2022

We begin II Thessalonians where the Apostle Paul boasts about the growing faith, love and hope of the Thessalonian church in the midst of suffering and persecution.

Final Instructions 10.07.2022

We wrap up the book of I Thessalonians this week by looking at the final 17 verses. Paul gives the Thessalonians 16 final instructions and addresses the pastors, the people and the practice of how these instructions play out in the Church.

The Day of the Lord 03.07.2022

We near the end of I Thessalonians, looking at 5:1-11 in this message. The Thessalonian church was concerned about the future, in particular whether they were ready to stand before Jesus and have everything in order for His coming... or as Paul called it, “the day of the Lord.”

Am I "Left Behind"? 26.06.2022

This Sunday we are looking at one of the most popular passages in the Bible. At the heart of Paul’s teaching is that God’s promises about tomorrow give us hope for how we face today.

Stay in Your Lane 19.06.2022

In this message, we examine four ways in which Paul teaches us to stay in our lane: 1. Love each other more 2. Lead a quiet life 3. Mind your own business 4. Work with your hands
