With many a tangent and offtopic rant, Stephanie and Nicole discuss H G Wells' seminal (I'm going to keep using that word) 1898 novel, The War of the Worlds. Colonialism! Two named women characters if you count their shared surname! The indomitable spirit of the British rail worker!
