Lancaster Elementary School has transitioned to a Podcast format for its weekly Leaders and Learners article that asks guests three questions: What are you proud of, Why are you proud, and What’s next. On episode #014, we explain the reason for the recent hiatus of the podcast and give an update on the SAU 36 planning process for the 2026/2027 school year.

In this week's podcast, we change up the format to interview middle school students regarding their thoughts on the middle school transition. Also included is a brief introduction of the work being done to ensure that we celebrate and honor each class transitioning with an end-of-year promotion ceremony. We hope you enjoy the change and hearing from middle school students!

Welcome to this week’s episode of the Lancaster Big 3 Podcast! We’re switching things up with a special focus on gratitude. As we head into the season of reflection and appreciation, we wanted to take a moment to hear from students and staff about what they are thankful for. Hope you enjoy!

Glen and Tanner kick off the podcast with an introduction to the LES Card Club, Haidyn and Lil promote the 4th Grade Fundraiser, and Mr. Buteau speaks about the Community Connections basketball program between LES and law enforcement.

On episode #010, we break the mold a bit and have an extended interview with Mr. Dupont.  Mr. Dupont talks about LES’ Veterans Day Ceremony and his love for wrestling. 

The Colonel Town players leads us off with a promotion of The SpongeBob Musical that opens on Friday, November 14th, students in the hallway talk about what they learned during a recent visit from Plymouth State University’s TIGER Theatre Program, and Mrs. McVetty talks about the book fair as well as the upcoming ski and ride program sign-ups. 

Phia leads us off with an overview of her experience with the New Hampshire Kid Governor Program, Gwen, Colton, and Trapper speak about the National Junior Honors Society and the recent ceremony, while Mrs. LaBounty speaks about our Fire Prevention and Safety Week collaboration with the Lancaster Fire Department.

Tanner leads us off with an overview of the middle school golf program. Ava, Tara Giles (Community Builders Hub), Mrs. Eich, and Mrs. DeRivera inform us about Community Connections, while Mrs. Eich, Mrs. Vestal, and Mrs. LaBounty inform us about middle school math approach. 

Devyn and Mick lead us off with an overview of the positive impact of being students who are involved in a variety of activities, Mrs. Chase talks about her new approach to presenting attendance data, while Eli Vincent chats with us about Colonel Town.  

Sophie starts us off with a fun conversation about student council and her love for learning, Mr. Shannon speaks about the role of a day custodian at LES, while Mrs. Foss and Ms. Fryman talk about the role literacy plays in the Kindergarten Classrooms.  Landyn wraps the episode up with a little humor!
