A disciple of Jesus is not merely a disciple in name. A disciple is made by the belief in his mind, the professions of his mouth, and by how closely he follows Jesus. Overcommitting comes from a place of wanting to establish ourselves or our work temporarily, but when we commit everything to the LORD, we aren't striving, but trusting our work to His capable hands.
