This world seeks to shape us into its mold. But Christ's death implores us to seek to shape the culture, instead. Belief necessitates living what we espouse and contending for that belief so others can gain what we were given. Bible Reading: Jude Scripture Verse of the Day: Jude 1:3(b)

What influences in your life are persuading you to believe or not believe something? True belief does not waiver under pressure. If we can be talked into something, we can be talked out of it, as well. Bible Reading: Acts 27-28 Scripture Verse of the Day: Acts 28:24

God delights in you, friend. Do you believe that? This world chips away at our wirth, but Christ's birth is a reminder of our intrinsic value given to us by our Creator, Who made us in His image. Bible Reading: Psalm 148-150 Scripture Verse of the Day: Psalm 149:4

Today it has become popular to award apathy and to make everyone a winner, whether or not they actually even tried. No one wants hurt feelings. Yet this enablement is not ultimate victory. We are all commanded to go and share the gospel, but all too often we can shrink back from this calling, feeling unqualified to speak on Christ's behalf. But Christ did not tell us to yield results. When life comes at me hard, I can feel overwhelmed. But God takes the overwhelming and makes our lives overflowing with His grace. Bible Reading: Psalms 142-144 Scripture Verse of the Day: Psalm 142:3

The end times are scary to those who are not in Christ. If we are honest, to those who are in Christ, there is a degree of fear. But when we know the One Who wins and Who reigns, we don't fear what is to come. Bible Reading: Revelation 11-15 Scripture Verse of the Day: Revelation 11:17

Are we "all in"? It is easy to say we believe in God's word, but do we believe in all of it? Living out what we say we believe and proclaiming the full word of God is how we demonstrate that we are "all in". Bible Reading: Acts 19-20 Scripture Verse of the Day: Acts 20:27

Sometimes we can want our cake and eat it too. But our compromise will bear fruit eventually. A deal only works when both sides honor it, yet God always keeps His end of His covenant. Bible Reading: Deuteronomy 29-30 Scripture Verse of the Day: Deuteronomy 29:9

I used to be accused of being gullible. I mean, if someone came and told me something and said they were telling me the truth, I did not think they would lie. Ever wonder how it is that you came to know God and understand God's word? God's calling is sure and His purposes will never fail. Those Who are appointed to know Him He will never lose. Bible Reading: Acts 21-22 Scripture Verse of the Day: Acts 22:14
