No more local teams remain in the NCAA Tournament for both the men's and women's now. Last night North Carolina fell to Ohio State in a nail-bitter finish of 71-69. Duke lost in overtime to Colorado by a final of 61-53. For what it's worth though, the women's are still having a much better showing in the NCAA Tournament as there are other ACC teams still in the running for the championship.

Vashti Hurt of the Carolina Blitz joins the show to give her a breakdown of what she saw out of the local teams in the NCAA Tournament. She was down in Orlando to watch Duke vs Tennesse and was stunned at the news of Duke's Mark Mitchell being unable to play due to a knee injury moments before the game. Vashti also feels that there wasn't anything for North Carolina to play in the NIT. 

The Memphis Grizzlies are now "hopeful" that Ja Morant with play Wednesday vs the Houston Rockets. Morant returned to the team on Monday after serving an 8-game suspension and apologized to his teammates for his recent actions. He was ruled out of their game on Monday against the Mavericks but scrimmaged against Grizzlies reserves and staffers. 

Alabama freshman defensive back Tony Mitchell attempted to flee police officers at 141 mph last Wednesday. Police did obtain $7,000 in cash, possession of marijuana, and a loaded gun as well. Nick Saban addressed the matter and made it clear that the margin for mistakes like this is very thin within his program. Five years after the historic loss to No.16-seed UMBC as a No. 1 seed, No. 13 Furman dealt No. 4 Virginia another historic first-round NCAA tournament exit. Duke didn't have much trouble as they ended the upset dreams of Oral Roberts, giving head coach Jon Scheyer his first NCAA tournament win of his career.
