My guest this morning was Lawrence "Boo" Mitchell. He is a native Memphian. He is a musician, songwriter, producer, and audio engineer. He most recently earned a Grammy Music Award in Los Angeles. This is his 3rd Grammy! Mr. Mitchell is a "Living legend"

The special guest this morning on WDIA was Dr. and Mrs. Derrick Payne. They are bringing the Young Jeezy show to Memphis this weekend. The show will be held at the Renasant Convention Center. Also on Stan's Special People Spotlight today was--Jesse Peck, Singer and bass player for the Spinners.  The Spinners are in West Memphis for a concert this weekend.
