The Band Oslo Snowe

Band member Meg Hinton steps out front on "So Many Things" a Progressive House/EDM offering that alludes to the adage, "You don't know what you've got until it's gone". The lyrics take inspiration from the seasons: winter, summer and fall -- with a reminder to cherish each sublime danceable moment.

"For All Things Good" is a solo project performed by The Band Oslo Snowe' member Zan deHavilland. It is a joyful song that uses one of the band's favorite farewell expressions: "stay happy stay holy".

The music video reflects the adventure of the band aboard their sailboat named after the band Toad The Wet Sprocket's album of the mid-nineties, Dulcinea. The fun of the band's sailing life is further illustrated by the sea shanty vocal arrangement sung in the style of a round during the song's outro/vamp.

A mid tempo acoustic and electric guitar driven tune whose introspective lyrics are about how life when viewed from far away seems to change when viewed close up:  "...You learn the hard way, indeed c'est la vie -- a full-on Monet..."

During rehearsal  band members toyed with playing vintage guitars ranging from plastic to koa and other retro models used by artists such as Django Reinhardt, Train and Hall & Oates.  Tune was inspired by a French court ruling in recent years that employees could not be terminated for failure to be "fun" by participating in seminars and weekend excursions that often involved excessiv...

Along with the video an exaggeration of  when you are forced to question the phrase: "When what you see and what you hear don't match, trust your eye's". Tune is an indie-rock vocal with layered electric guitar tone variations and a full range of percussion instruments.

A story-song that embodies the essence of a "noir  classic" gangster film. Our lead subject in our video has led a life of crime and is intertwined with a female character playing both sides. Fun note: If you're a fan of the performance of Marlon Brando in The Godfather you may notice our lead actor's resemblance to Al Pacino in  the tunes video.

This easy going indie-chill tune is punctuated with tasty fretless bass solos backed by acoustic guitar and solid electric rhythm guitar.  "...Hey now, gonna be happy so don't hand me the blues, hey now, gonna feel happy, so don't hand me the blues..."
