The Avid Indoorsmen

We got the guys from the Unofficial Official Podcast to come on and play some games with us. We’ve had Seggie Isho on a bunch and Tyler Trepp played a movie game night with us last year, but this is Mike Luginbill’s first time on the show. Had a great time with these guys. Check out their podcast and go check out a Straight No Chaser show this summer!

Don’t Don’t Don’t Don’t, Don’t You Forget About…How Amazing John Hughes was. This is the 7th John Hughes film we’ve done an episode on. We brought back Abe Sword to tell us all about his thoughts on The Breakfast Club. We had a great time and hope you enjoy listening!

The film that gave us timeless quotes like: “If peeing your pants is cool, consider me Miles Davis.” ; “Don’t tell me my business, devil woman!” and “Stop looking at me, Swan” has turned 30 years old…of course we’re referring to the Adam Sandler comedic classic, Billy Madison. We got our good buddy Maxaphone to come back and chat about one of his favorite movies of all time. Enjoy!

You've heard us talk about our buddies Dave & Post quite a bit, Buegs regularly goes to the movies with them and they're brought up quite a bit. We decided to get Dave on here for the first time and he's pretty great at movie trivia. Since we only had two guys on, we both got to play each other's games as well. Enjoy!

We grew up on the funny monster classic, Tremors, and had to bring back a couple guys who grew up with it as well, Benny Elledge & Renegade. This movie was so great they ended up making 6 more Tremors films! Enjoy listening to our takes on it.

AND WE’RE BACK! Another year has come and gone and we’ve decided to rank our Top 10 films of last year. We had a great time and had pretty different lists this year. If you’re looking for some movie recommendations this is the episode you’re looking for! Let’s hope 2025 brings us some more great movies!

We’ve had our buddies Timmy St. Sauver and Brandon Miller come on to play movie games for our last episode of the year for the past several years, and we decided to keep that tradition going! We’ll be taking a couple weeks off and hope you enjoy the end of 2024 and beginning of 2025! Thanks for listening!

The Christmas Classic that gave us Cousin Eddie and a full shi**er has just turned 35 years old. To celebrate this momentous occasion we brought back our buddy Chris Chatham to break down all of the crazy Christmas shenanigans. Enjoy and MERRY CHRISTMAS/HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

We love a Frank Darabont film that's based off of a Stephen King story. That's why when we heard the Green Mile was having its 25th anniversary, we knew we had to do an episode on it. Amazing film and we enjoyed breaking it down. Enjoy!

Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate! We have brought back some of our friends who call themselves the Funts. Only half of them were able to participate, but we’re THANKFUL we got to play games with Kate Duncan, Jessie Pellowski and Kelsey Lundquist. Enjoy and Happy Thanksgiving!

The Edgar Wright/Simon Pegg classic zombie parody movie is turning 20 this year. Should we have released this closer to Halloween? Probably…but we didn’t think about it. At least we went and got one of our favorite buddies, Heatbox, to come on and chat about it with us. He was awesome and you are gonna enjoy this episode!

Galaxy Quest is 25 years old and we brought back Dave Hauer & Jenny Milani, our friends from college and die-hard Galaxy Quest fans. It was great to have them back and explain why Galaxy Quest means so much to them. Never Give Up! Never Surrender!

Interstellar is a movie that is out of this world. So we had to get some amazing guests for this one and decided Jenika Marion and Darrell Marrier would be perfect. We haven't had Darrell on a movie pod before and he fit right in. Jenika is always a delight and a Christopher Nolan superfan. This was a bunch of fun! Enjoy!

BOO! Hope we didn’t scare you too much. We want you to get in the Halloween spirit by listening to us play some fun movie games that may or may not be spooky. We got some of our favorite recurring guests on this one, Adam Chance & Sami Matarante and McKenzie & Reilly Zamber. We had a bunch of fun. Enjoy, Happy Halloween and stay safe out there!

John Wick is 10 years old and we brought back a recurring guest who is actually IN THE MOVIE!!! Sami Matarante! She’s the best and had some fun stories to share about her filming experience. Enjoy!

The first rule of this Fight Club episode is you should talk about this Fight Club episode to everyone! We got Adam Rupp to hang out with us and chat about this David Fincher gem. Enjoy!

The movie that gave us the inner-monologue of a baby and gave insights on what they’re thinking, just turned 35. We had a fun time revisiting and chatting about it. Enjoy!

Nate Stone comes back on the program to talk about Dodgeball which is celebrating its 20th anniversary! We’ve heard Nate quote this one a bunch over the years and was the first one we thought of for this episode. We had a blast! Enjoy!

The NFL season has started so we thought it would be fun to bring back some of our buddies who are in our fantasy football league to play some movie games with us. We had a blast and it got very silly. Hope y’all enjoy!

This super silly film that gave us some amazing cameos, such as Matt Damon as a punk rock star, has just turned 20 years old. Buegs LOVES this movie and we brought back Neil Ghosh to give his thoughts. Enjoy!

We love Speed. The movie! We brought back our buddy Eric Patenaude to chat about all the amazing things that Speed offers. It was super fun. Enjoy!

We grew up with the Beverly Hills Cop films and were anxiously awaiting the fourth film in the franchise to come out so we could chat about it. Thankfully it was good enough (IN OUR OPINION) to do an episode on it. Get ready for that theme song to be stuck in your head and enjoy our episode on Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F!

We got our MARVELous recurring guest, Reilly Zamber, to nerd out about Deadpool & Wolverine with us and we had all the fun. Reilly always learns us something in these episodes and we hope you’re able to be enlightened as well. Enjoy!

Had to bring Rob’s Dad, Fred, back on the pod to discuss a movie that was watched over and over in the Lundquist household, Uncle Buck. We all loved John Candy and had so much fun chatting about this film. Enjoy!

25 years ago the world got to see Adam Sandler play a very silly father figure in the comedy, Big Daddy. We both watched this one a bunch growing up and knew we had to chat about it on an episode. It’s just us on this one, so sit back and relax and enjoy the show!
