Terpene Therapy

This week we're in Southern Oregon to capture a conversation with Nick from Summer Heads! This one turned out to be a bunch of fun and we cover everything from his preference for sungrown solventless products to bigfoot potentially being a UFO! If you know me personally, you know I love the weird and unexplained aspects of our reality and it was cool to find someone equally as into it as I am...

This week we're in the woods near the Who's Who garden to discuss the benefits of cannabis for PTSD and how it's impacted my life! I'm grateful to be able to work with this plant and cultivate a positive relationship with it! There aren't many things that are as helpful without causing negative side effects that can further reduce the quality of life. For me clean cannabis...

This year I had the privilege of capturing a morning meditation in the rows on my own! This is an honor to be allowed into that space without the owners of the garden being there as well and I am very grateful for that! It's been very busy over here and so the uploading schedule will be slightly off over the next couple of weeks! In this one I discuss the changes to the garden beds for this y...

This week we're back in the original satellite studio to shortly discuss the new tax that is implemented in MI; a 24% bulk sales tax which will impact producers and consumers. It's supposed to generate capital to fix the roads, however things might not always be what they seem when you look below the surface! That is, of course, speculation! I'm also gearing up for an exciting three...

This week we're back in the beautiful Smoky Mountains to discuss cannabis history, his adventure into the world of hash making, some hash hole rolling techniques, and more! The pocket of cannabis culture that exists in WNC is truly a beautiful thing and thanks to the farm bill, people can come out of hiding and share their work with the world. As it should have always been! I'm very much...

This week we're hanging out at Karma's studio to capture a multi-faceted conversation! We discuss the transformation of ideas into physical form, the origins of the name Karma Glass, where thoughts go after you think them, and so much more! The energy was flowing during this one; an unexpected yet greatly appreciated conversation!  Make sure you grab your tickets for Karma Show 3.0 Ticke...

It's been nearly a year since we sat down last time to meet one of TN's most dedicated single source producers! He's been very busy building out his new garden and entering into the competitive realm of resin! We recently got a chance to meet back up at Resin Rivals, where he took 2nd place! It's always cool to see the progression made by previous podcast guests!  Terps N Thing...

This week we're back in beautiful Asheville, NC to capture a conversation with Cymatic Gardens! He's a single source hemp rosin producer with a fresh drop over at Skyland Cannabis Co. We discuss melt quality, the genetics that he's drawn to working with, how cymatic patterns create our physical reality, and so much more! I thoroughly enjoyed this metaphysical discussion! It's i...

This week we're out at the tree of knowledge to capture it's essence within the camera! It's a shorter this episode this time; I've been dealing with a lot of wild things in my personal world and figured I'd try and spook myself with some Lemon Haze from the Summer's End Smokeout competition to get a bit of the good old adrenaline instead of anxiety! It's always...

This week is a rather sad episode, unfortunately a friend of mine has passed away. Tom Culton was an inspiration to many, a very unique soul, and it's strange how the universe works out sometimes. We had been talking about doing a 2nd conversation for TT recently and while that one won't be captured, the world at least has the first one. It is forever within the ether. These conversation...

This week we take a hike with a RekTip roll in a very beautiful wildflower sanctuary! I found the RekTip while preparing the recovery room for my wife and I figured I might as well feature it on an episode! I got that tip while I was experiencing an ego clash at Ego Clash '24! A lot of energy stored in that glass to say the least! I also discuss the changing landscapes of both our digital env...

This week we're going on an adventure with a blend of the Terp Style Rainbow Zlushies flower with the Amnesia Lemon Hashplant #3 ! This blend works well! Both flavors are far enough apart on the flavor spectrum that they leave room for each other in the mix! I've always felt that blending flavor profiles is a lot like blending different instruments to make a song. I also discuss the vari...

This week we're at the garden table with Nick Risden from Lyme Rising Farm for the second time on the course of this podcast! We discuss changes in the garden this year, approaching marketability as a craft farm, a bit more of Nick's history and passion for cannabis, and the importance of managing your mental health/the garden's impact on your mental heath! I got to try some of last...

This week we're hiking around with my new Big Mellons Glass x Zone Glass puffjawn top. It features a white + pink base color with two millie chip eyes, full mouth, and a millie chip stack marble! I've been enjoying the terps dry recently; better flavor translation and the rig stays cleaner! Also no accidentally spilt water! There are some issues with the audio for the first 7ish minutes...

This week we're testing out the results of the Amnesia Lemon Hashplant #3 in flower form to analyze its overall quality. This is based on several factors including ash structure, color, flavor translation, uniqueness + potency of effect, and enjoyability. As always, I find the joint to be the best method to assess these factors! I ended up getting outside to enjoy the A.L.H. #3 in its entiret...

MERRY 7/10! ON THIS GLORIOUS DAY WE GIVE THANKS TO THE BEAUTY THAT IS RESIN! THOSE LITTLE BIOCHEMICAL FACTORIES SURE DO MAKE OUR EXISTENCE ON THIS PLANE OF REALITY A BIT BETTER! TODAY WE TAKE A TOUR DE HASH STARTING WITH THE DRIED FLOWER AND ENDING WITH COLD CURED FULL MELT! THE WEATHER IS BEAUTIFUL AND I HOPE YOU ALL ARE STAYING SAFE, STONED, AND SMOKING ON FIRE! NO MIDS, NO BLUNTS, NO BOOFBHO !...

This week we're down in the cave to do some dry sifting on the Dry Sift Wizard screens that a good friend of mine let me borrow! It's an honor and privilege to be able to use these to process the unused flower that I've collected over my journey across the sea of terps! The first bit of flower that we used did not yield a single trichome through the screen, so I ground up some old D...

This past weekend I had the opportunity to check out one of Michigan's newest resin competitions, Resin Rivals! This competition features nationally recognized brands from around the U.S. to compete with their rosin and full melt selections! Beyond that, it's a wonderful way to connect with people you've never met before and reconnect with those you have! I also finally secured a BP...

This week we're down in the Cure Cave to do some trim work on the Amnesia Lemon Hashplant harvest! This plant dried a bit quicker than the Tropaya BX #6, and on day 14, it is ready to go into the cure jars! This round we're using Ball 16oz wide mouth jars to do the curing, slightly different than the previous round! This harvest was interesting to achieve and I am excited to see how the...

This week we're trying the new Daily Grape from the recent collaboration batch from Humble Hills x Who's Who Solventless out of the new Rone Glass spray bottle! This is the second release of their collaborative effort to capture the highest quality of resin possible! This genetic has a very refined grape flavor and a balanced effect profile! Around 50 min in, I go over to the cure cave t...

The time has come to chop down the two phenos of the Amnesia Lemon Hashplant by Superfluous Seeds! This plant is not for beginners and I learned a few things while I was growing it! One of the main things is height management and light intensity! The next rounds should be more dialed in! The beginning of this episode is a pre harvest walking meditation in one of my favorite locations! It's al...

This week we're in the tomato tent getting prepared for next week's harvest of the Amnesia Lemon Hashplant #2 and #3! It's going to be a technical procedure to harvest through the two layers of trellis and I will probably end up cutting it! These plants are currently on day 111 and will likely be pulled on day 115! I am looking forward to seeing the results of this batch. It's...

Growing your own is a core tenet of Terpene Therapy, and I have been planning this project for a minute! Square Foot gardening is a good method to maximize your space to be able to sustain your own existence! I'm planning on being able to grow tomatoes, zucchini, peppers, potatoes, spinach, and several different kitchen herbs! Gotta get that soil test first though! I also do a walking meditat...

This week I wanted to get back out into nature while we had a break from the rain to test out the progress on the Tropaya BX #6's cure process! All parts of the process are equally as important, however the cure is where you lock in months of work and preserve what you've done! There are so many batches that have been produced that don't get a proper cure and the consumption experei...
